ORIGINAL: OedipusRexIt Is it just me, or does anyone else chuckle at those who put up multiple profiles, one right after the other? You know the kind, where someone is something along the lines of "SexyDom" (a made up name for the sake of discussion) and one line below that is "SexySub", with the same bio and photo? I always laugh. People use the interenet to lie, cheat and misrepresent themselves, but not everyone does it with even a modicum of skill. Those same bi-polar people then proceed to check their two profiles, one right after the other, which alerts the rest of us to the dupliciity. It's one thing to have competing desires (i.e. to be a switch) and quite another to pretend to be two things, neither of which is genuine. I see this all the time, especially in the new members section, where tow and sometimes three profiles in a row are the same person, same photo, and only the description is different. Thoughts on this? What if anything should/could Collarme do? Other sites restrict multiple screen names, should CM? I guess thosae people are just stupid. I've often considered having two separate profiles because I'm a switch. When people see "Switch" there's a stigma behind it. If I want to find a submissive, I often think I'd be better of with a Dominant profile and vice versa. Still I keep the switch profile because it represents ME. There really isn't a way to enforce not having multiple profiles save maiking this a pay site. You have to have evidence that the two profiles really are the same person. And even if they come from the same IP address, that doesn't prove anything because it could be two different people living at the same address (for example, I have a roommate).
