Ahhh....so then that should probably hold true for everyone, yes? (Smiles) Wonderful!!

Not just probably, but absolutely! However, I don’t see anyone else bothered by the
use of the word. Isn’t it lonely on that podium?

And it has nothing to do with "my" vocabulary, poise. (Shrugs)
Google it and you can damn more that than just Webster's! (Ha!)

Perhaps I should clarify. What I meant by your vocabulary, Clicky, was that it’s very apparent
that you aren’t familiar with the art of flirting, and thus, would not understand that there is no need for
a dictionary. In fact, made up words often add to the playfulness of the exchange.

(curtsies and twirls my hair while smiling)

Actually poisey, I was just trying to make a point with RedMagic. Sorry if you assumed I was addressing you to begin with.
And as for a podium, you'd best be careful with that curtsy lest you fall off yours. It looks really high up from down here.
Take care!

I'm sorry, I'm going to have to call it, advantage: Poise.

And as a full disclaimer, not just because I have a forum crush on Poise, but because Webster can't always keep up, yeah, you can make words up, language existed before Webster, people who cannot even read manage to communicate, it's just a thang.

But, being a pedant myself, I will give you points for perseverance and meaning well, and for wearing heels even though you live in Ohio, that's not just hot, it's smokin'.

And Poise loses points for cattiness, it fucks with my cuckqueaning fantasy.

I'll be willing to call it a draw if You'll both agree to an oil wrestling match, winner take all - yes?

If it's all about something else, ignore everything I just said.

Disclaimer 2: not that I have a cuckqueaning fantasy about Poise in particular, just my cuckqueaning fantasy in general.

I believe Delta requested that we return to the original topic of the thread. Let's do that, shall we?

Yeah, I think that's been covered.

Dominate does, I believe, derive from the Latin, dominant or dominus:

quote:

Word origin: Latin, dominant- (s. of domināns, prp. of dominārī, to dominate), equiv. to domin(us), master + -ant.

Interestingly enough, the word "Dominus is Latin for "God" or "the Lord." "Dominari" is to Master or control, according to my friend Mr. Webster! (He and I go wayyyy back! LOL) "Dominate" is to rule over or control.
I think the English language is really interesting, myself!

Enjoy!

In Japanese, it's "sensei".

I wonder if that's actually the title that kinky folks use, though. I seem to remember reading somewhere that the Japanese term for top is actually one of the words for sword. I guess because they're doing the striking? I don't remember the one for bottom.
