I've been firing pistols, mainly Berretas, for a few years. I'm not terribly good with them. I prefer revolvers or shotguns.
As for Dana Patrick, she's a decent racer. Nothing more really. I think she'll be very good in a few years.

In the revolver line I've owned a S&W .357, a Colt. 38 snub which I will always keep that lil snub as I did have to draw it on a fella once, he thought it would be nice to attempt to slap me around and found it in his ribs, that changed his mind real quick . Shotguns I love Ruger red label over and under 12 gauge and their side by side.

As for Danica, give her time she needs experience and that comes with time. [:)]

I've embarrassed a few men on the pistol range more then once. I usually walk in and they look me over like I'm either a piece of meat or I HAVE to be a dyke because no woman goes shooting alone or so they think [:-] I have 2 faovrite pistols that I take with me a Beretta 92S, a Baby Desert Eagle .40 and I've had men challenge me several times. Many have left red faced and embarrassed in front of their friends. What can I say? I like to shoot and have done so since I was young, I've got a good eye and a steady hand and I happen to be female. Most men seem to have a problem with that for whatever reason. One fella told me guns were a *guy* thing, I said yeah like hunting and fishing, which I also do. I'm NO guy [:D]

A woman being able to handle powerful things is very appealing, whether it is a gun, a car, or me  ;-)

I thoroughly enjoy wiping up the range with men's butts....especially the cops.  They *hate* when the rangemaster gives counts and I beat them, but they should be getting used to it.  The male K9 handlers would also take issue with my dog being better than theirs, being harder or faster than theirs, or finding the stash quicker.

This is a perfect example of women coming up superior in a work place ..must be happening more as women are evolving now..

I've been reading the different threads but never been able to catch up, some of them are extremely long.
So anyway, I wanted to get back to the core of this subject...about Female supremacy.
It really depends on so many different factors. What does it mean to you when you think of Female Supremacy? Are you in awe of all women because of our strengths and differences? Our life giving forces? Or just because all it takes is a special look and you are weak in your knees and ready to fall down to worship us?

Noticed when I posted this that it said in reply to the previous poster...I had meant it to be a reply to the first post. [sm=hello.gif]

MistressLorelei -> RE: Female supremacy in real life.. (6/3/2006 10:52:32 PM)

I don't think it's the guns, sports, or cars... I think femininity pure and simple has the most power of all.
I think many males find more strength in a woman who can show them up with her Femininity than with a baseball bat.  Not that that isn't fun... I played softball all of my childhood/teen life, and it was always extremely fun to play exhibition games against the boys baseball teams... they would be so sure they could hit a softball, they would boast and tease, yet IF they hit it, it didn't go quite as far as they thought... the humiliation of losing to a team of girls...  it was wonderful.  I think my fondness for  humiliation may have started back then.

Now that was a great real life encounter where a female has embarrassed a male and shown her supremacy..do you get any extra pleasure or thrill when you beat  a man instead of a woman..

I like to win at anything, but I do know how to loose gracefully too. The only time I got an almost perverse pleasure out of it was when this one older alphamale approached me and asked where my husband was?  I said I dont have one. He said are you a police officer? I said no. He said then why are you here alone? Dont you realise its dangerous for women to be out alone with out a man? I said thats what the gun is for buddy. [;)]
He decided he wanted to see what the little lady could do and I showed him. He walked away mumbling and redfaced.

~Lashra

This is one of those things that often humors and bothers me. I don't have a single problem with a woman doing something better than me. I don't have a problem with a guy doing something better than me. I have my talents. I can shoot a gun; I am a veteran and all that. But if I'm at a shooting range and a woman shows up to shoot, I wouldn't give it a second thought. I'd actually be pleased that this woman I don't know is doing something to protect herself. Protection doesn't have anything to do with gender but with being able to stand up against bullies. The usurped feminist/Lifetime channel process of examination of this issue has kind of overwhelmed a lot of women (and men) into believing that women are all potential victims of evil men that are out to hurt them almost to the point of creating a self-fulfilling prophecy of information saturation where people believe this before they even have a chance to learn there are both differences and similarities between men and women.

I live in one of those demographic areas of the country where men overwhelming treat women in the kind of way that you mentioned in your post. The women out here reinforce the bad stereotype in a Darwinist methodology that makes it so that someone who doesn't treat women in a demeaning way is less desirable as a potential partner due to the social/psychological paradigm this creates. I've had conversations with my male friends about how I'm really not interested in women in this area because of this "oh, I'm a girl and don't know that kind of stuff" attitude, and almost always their response is that I should "pretend" to be that way in hopes of getting a girlfriend/partner. Simple peer pressure is pretty much all one needs these days to fall into this ridiculous paradigm.

DiannaVesta -> RE: Female supremacy in real life.. (6/4/2006 7:34:57 AM)

Oh no, not this again. lol- it amazes me how often this drum gets beat. I think that HarryVanWinkle described it best in another thread:

"size=18]SYLLABICATION:
su·prem·a·cy

:

NOUN:
Inflected forms: pl. su·prem·a·cies
1. The quality or condition of being supreme. 2. Supreme power or authority.

Superiority: noun: displaying a sense of being better or greater worth than others

In various threads on the subject of Female Supremacy, I've noticed a tendancy of people to use these words interchangeably. To me, these words are not synonyms.

When I say that I am something of a Female Supremacist, I mean that I believe that the ideal situation for myself is one in which a woman is supreme in power and authority within our relationship.

Does this mean that I believe that she will be superior to me? Well, I have to answer that with a qualified "no." In some ways, no doubt, she will be. In other ways, I will be superior to her. But, overall, no. I do not believe that any human being is of inherently greater worth than any other."

and
as I have said before, many times, don't get so stuck on the words. Before making comments we hear over and over do a simple forum search and see what the conclusions are. Try understanding why we feel instead of passing judgements or making assumptions.

I appreciate your post, Dianna.

The wash is that most men that I find writing to me supposing that I'm a FemSup; they actually SAY they're looking for someone to be superior to them.  They blather away about how lowly they are, how they're not worth the air they breathe, yada yada.  I find that really distracting and quite honestly, it's just in poor taste.  Personally, I don't want to be in possession of much less keep time with something of no value. Not my thing, and yet....time after time, I'm shoved into that little box because it's convenient for them to match me to their kink.

DiannaVesta -> RE: Female supremacy in real life.. (6/4/2006 8:44:50 AM)

Look I truly don't mean to sound like such a bitch. It’s not really my style. I'm a little off these days. My dog has been sick and I just had to put him down. I'm not really myself these past few days.

But seriously consider our lifestyle as something that is precious to us. In my home I am superior because I lead. This doesn’t mean I go out and try and convert the world. I’m quite happy with allow everyone to do their own thing. I have male friends who are dominant. We don’t always agree on some things but it certainly doesn’t mean we can’t love and respect each other.   The rituals we use are like any of family traditions. They are more symbolic then literal. They help women feel empowered and to embody the Goddess & surmount sigma. In turn men are able to move into a space of relinquishing control really.

Yeah trust me I know. Its like that with pretty much every area of the scene. Its when fantasy over takes reality. They are not really into a woma being in control just the sexual fantasy of it. The ones who are truly into FS would never approach you that way. In fact they are intelligent and understand exactly how to approach an obviously intelligent woman like yourself.

It is a shame our society has perverted and conditioned women to believe that they must be submissive, subservient or inferior in some way to appeal to men. I have often heard women say  "Oh I could never shoot a gun thats a man's thing."  Well why not? Why is it considered a *man's thing*? I didn't realise pistols had genders, or footballs or hockey sticks.
I have nothing in common with those type of women, they are a totally different breed of female than I am. I've heard them say the same thing and I don't understand why they need a man's approval. Its almost like they are afraid they won't *get* a man if they show any independence or opinion.
Men and women have different strengths and each is individual. What we need to do as a society is stop focusing on how to control each other and start focusing on building each other up in our individualized strengths for the betterment of the entire race.

Yeah thats a cool answer.. nothing about female supremacy and all..guys getting cocky .. real life instance of girls beating guys here..and you admit it was fun to play against guys and beat them.. cool..
Was the humiliation enjoyable and you think your fondness of humiliation started there..
I had a simple ques. because we all as in D/s have certain amount of humiliation play in our desires, did any real life instance gave you any such pleasure..

I am not quite sure what you are asking...  I don't know where my fondness for humiliation came from, but, yes, many instances in real life have given me a much greater humiliating pleasure than beating a bunch of boys in a softball game. Humiliation is a very powerful, very enjoyable thing (for me), and was a big part of my last D/s relationship. Also, to clarify, everyone involved in D/s does not desire or engage in humiliation play.
