Wow, they have been coming out of the wood work like roaches after the lights are out. Really, guys, what makes ya'll think I care about what you think? As I was told today, there always is the Ashley Madison site for cheaters of both genders. Not sure why this particular dickhead had to inform me of that, but ok. Use it and leave those of us that do not agree with cheaters alone. Or are you having trouble finding kink/bdsm inclined women there?
My block list keeps getting longer and longer.....

mnottertail -> RE: Being trolled for having morals (1/30/2012 12:14:25 PM)

I doubt it is as moralistic as all that.

kalikshama -> RE: Being trolled for having morals (1/30/2012 1:36:33 PM)

Ok...context?

In the "Morals and values" thread you say:

quote:

I will not have anything to do with a married man. Period. I do not care what your story is or what sort of arrangement you have with your wife. My feelings about the matter are there on my profile and if you don't like them, I don't care. There are plenty of cheating females on these sites and you both will get what you deserve in the end.

PS- Karma is a bitch.

So I don't understand why someone is bringing up Ashley Madison to you. Are you referring to some idiot on the other side who emailed you?

It motivated you to post about it here. Obviously their comments matter to you on some level. If you really didn't care you'd have clicked the X and moved on.

Just sayin'.

Caring is one emotion, irritation totally another. Hopefully you can figure out which is which. It was a vent, that's all. Yes, the latest shithead from the other side mentioned Ashley Madison to me, not sure why, though.

xssve -> RE: Being trolled for having morals (1/30/2012 4:55:50 PM)

Is it for having morals, or for hassling people that don't share yours? Just asking, because I can't remember the subject coming up for me more than once or twice in the years since I've been coming here.

Back when I was looking I'd usually skip over the married ones, I was looking for a 24/7, till death do us part slut, but I wasn't averse to playing in the meantime. I wouldn't do it without the husbands consent, I'm not homewrecker, and husbands have been known to react badly to this sort of thing when it's sprung on them fait acompli.

But even with spousal consent, to me it just means complications, I tend to make some kind of emotional investment in the people I'm shtuping, I like to think it's important enough to put everybody else on hold at least till you kinda get to know each other a little bit so I probably wouldn't fool around with a married woman for the same reason I probably couldn't get too excited about fooling around with a single chick that had another boyfriend, be like dating half a person - I've turned chicks down for that, lose the boyfriend, then we'll talk.

So unless it's like gangbang scene or something, maybe a Threesome or even the stunt cock in a cuck scene, it feels weird to me - doesn't even make sense 'cause I could probably get all into those other things, but not a one on one.

It's not morals or anything, I'm not even sure what it is - makes some people hot, I'm just lukewarm about it.

But you know it's their lives, I'm not their mother, it's not my job to enforce marital vows, people get bored, get on each others nerves, maybe even just feel like going out and meeting other people, social monogamy is quite common in many places, and nobody gets too worked up about it - if they're not hurting anybody there's no harm in it.

They're adults and they can presumably deal with the consequences of making adult choices - not my business to make those choices for them, I have to make choices for myself and live with those consequences.

Which consequences might include not getting a lot of married trim on the side maybe, but whatever, I think I can live with that, move on.

Why not just pay for a hooker? That would seem to be a lot easier.

xssve -> RE: Being trolled for having morals (1/30/2012 5:19:48 PM)

Think it's actually geared more towards the wives - that's why it has a girly name.

Think I looked it over once long time ago, there was a story about it in the NYT or something.

Very soft porn designed to appeal to feminine sensibilities if I recall, more of yuppie thing, "discretely meet handsome cultured gentlemen", not, "hook up with slut tonight"!

^^ This (and kudos for bringing the Yiddish, at the appropriate time)

Peace and comfort,

Michael

Checked it out, and reading the drop down, it had men seeking men on there - I forgot there are also couples where one or the other turns out to be gay, and it's just too much hassle to get divorced.

xssve -> RE: Being trolled for having morals (1/30/2012 5:27:33 PM)

Oh, female, yeah, it probably does come up for you a bit more often, I don't know why I thought you were a guy.

I looked at your journal entry and it seemed like he did that to prove to you that your gender cheats, too.

Obviously irrelevant.  People in my gender play in the NFL, sell massive sales orders and fuel their companies, design integrated circuits, become priests, rape and murder, and dress in women's clothing.  I do none of that and refuse to take credit/blame for anyone in my gender except for me.

Apparently Ashleymadison.com is a sausage-fest.

Putting aside the moral issues momentarily, think about the legions of hot young ladies supposedly trolling AM for affairs. Why the hell would these girls be on Ashley Madison? Everyone knows that a lady so inclined can get action just about anywhere: a bar, a bowling alley, at a wake. Especially the modelesque girls Biderman suggests that you trade your “Chunker” in for. So I decided to look at Ashley Madison’s demographics, specifically the male-female ratio. Screenshot from Alexa.com:

Please, I'm surprised my Delete Checked button on the other side hasn't worn off. This is nothing to fret over. Just put it in the "bow to yr new master bitch" category.

My impression is that men are overrepresented on most (if not all) dating sites, except for religious dating sites.

Alexa shows that on Collarme.com, men are overrepresented.

However, checking on Catholicmatch.com, Christianmingle.com, and Christiansingles.com, women are overrepresented.

Zonie63 -> RE: Being trolled for having morals (1/31/2012 7:52:51 AM)

By the way, is there a real actual person named "Ashley Madison," or is that just a made-up name?
