Quite frankly! I knew it was happening in our lifestyle but to what extent?
Recently I was contacted by a Slave/ Sub, I am looking for one that will relocate to Tennessee.
But to my surprise I was informed that I would have to work out a deal with her current Master.
Kind of shocked me, Yes! I know what I posted above. But to what extent?
What is considered reasonable? How do I know she will even come or weather it is a scam?
I know what Collarme says. Never send money. But I am finding out that everyone wants money.
Visa, medical, and airfare. Where does it end?
How do you put a price on a human being? Is it even legal?
Granted, Everything is legal until you get caught. LOL! but what have some of you more experienced Dom/Dommes done?
Been in the lifestyle for 14 years and never faced this. Can all Doms/ Dommes be trusted. LOL! well you get the idea.
Any help and legitimate suggestions?

Can you say "rip off" or spell the word "scam".
Even if you are going to consider it you better know them a lot better and have a contract written up that makes a payment schedule based on expectations and time...
And yes it is very illegal

It's not legal and it's a scam.

C'mon, you're old enough to know better.

Only meet people who live close enough to you that you can drive and meet them for coffee in a town half way between you. That way all you're out is a cup of coffee.

Even if this woman was sincere (which she isn't) the moment she got there, she could change her mind and walk and you would have no legal recourse. Sure you could complain she's a prostitute, but that brings you up on charges of being a john.

I can't quite comprehend why you are thinking this is real. Come on OP, really? Buying and selling people is always going to be a straight up scam, how can you not know this? You're old enough to have been around the block a few times, what does your common sense tell you?

Yeah.

1. Write a real profile.  One that says who you are and what relationship you envision, not the logistics of where you pick her up and who pays for what.  As your profile is written, the ONLY ones who would be interested are the scammers.

2. Get out.  Meet people.  Maybe you'll find a compatible sub within the local community.

3. Don't waste time.  You kept up contact when there were several red flags, and then posted here asking us our opinions.  You should have bailed at the first red flag.

4. "I know what Collarme says. Never send money. But I am finding out that everyone wants money."

Nope.  Everyone THAT HAS TALKED WITH YOU wants money.  Your profile reads like a UPS delivery discussion.  If you wrote it so it discussed your life, your background, and where you plan to go, then you'd get real people.

Hello OP, I appreciate the time you took to list all the points relating to your topic, but it's all really a non-starter as a discussion as it's a scam.

-This is not happening in the 'lifestyle'. It's a scam to take advantage of lonely people who want shortcuts.
-Pretty much anyone who contacts you is a scammer. S type women don't need to seek, they've got lots of men coming after them, it's an uneven ratio of men to women on adult sites.
-There is no "slave" and no current "Master".
-She will not come, it is a scam.
-You say everyone here wants money....well sure. If you're looking for a young hot thing to hop in bed with you and do your bidding it's going to be the scammers you run into.
-The money will never end because it's a scam, there will always be something else. If you had a real slave though I would hope that you'd understand it would never end there too...insurance (life, medical), spending money, etc would be paid as well.
-Human trafficking is NOT legal. How can you not know this?
-The more experienced people here met people on their own and got to know them the regular way. Dating and such. You know, relationships.
-If you have been in the lifestyle for 14 years and never faced this I have to ask....do you live on Mars?
-Suggestions....forget about it, it's a scam.

I wrote on here for your opinions, and got some good replies, But I never went for the scam nor will I. But it is funny no one ever brings it up. It's easy to butcher the messenger. But really. Being around the block doesn't mean you don't have things to learn. Those that gave constructive criticism, I appreciate it. For those that gave smart ass remarks. Well that answers weather Doms/ Dommes can trust one another. As I read through the post on this site I realized there are a lot of problems, mine are minute compared to others. By the way for the comment about a bridge. Just a short reminder, In 1897 Alaska was bought and paid for at $7,200,000. Not bad for an old beat up state that continues to produce Gold year in and year out.

Okay, I wasn't going to comment because you did get your question answered. But I would actually like to say something about you asking can doms and dommes trust each other. The answer is as it would be with anyone else. No, not until they prove you can trust them. People are people no matter what their title is. I'm sure you wouldn't just give trust and respect to any other stranger, don't give it to someone that decides to call themself dom, domme, master, god, or anything else until they have proven themself to you.

What DS said and take off the penis pictures.

I'm speaking from the heart, I can't imagine any woman interested in a relationship for any reason other than money that would be interested in what you put up in your profile. I am NOT being mean, it's just easier here to be short and sweet rather than beat around the bush. I also can't imagine you've been around the 'lifestyle' as much as you say, falsifying things isn't in your best interest - people will see through what you are telling them and wondering if they can trust you. Not a good place for a Dominant to be.

You seem a bit surprised and hurt by the reaction here, but it's honestly quite difficult for other adults to see how you ever thought this could be for real.

1/ Yep. It's a scam. Glad you haven't shelled out.
2/ Messageboards everywhere have their share of 'contributors' who delight in trying to belittle others rather than simply address the issues raised. I'm afraid you just have to deal with that in whatever way works for you.

Good replies and I appreciate them. I will rethink my profile, I have removed the about me and the pictures. One thing "Have I ever been in a relationship?" Yes! 28 years to the same woman until she passed away. Thanks! for your insight.

If you mean this site, there's been heaps of threads with an OP whining about scammers.

Mine as well, that might explain why the scams are new to you after you having as much time in the lifestyle as you say you have. There are a ton of threads here OP that you can read as to how to pick out scammers or how to structure your profile to avoid them more. Anything that seems too good to be true is going to be just that, just like in life. I won't belabor the point, you may wish to do some reading though.
