Alopecia in most cases happens naturally. What is happening to your girlfriend is caused by a form of malnutrition do to the surgery she has had done. In must cases with the surgery it goes away when her body has rebalanced itself with the idea of being thinner and no longer feels it must suck nutrients away from things like her hair, nails, and oh tell her to mind her teeth. The surgery can help correct some medical issues but it can play hell on the teeth.

Well I've never seen a guy do it, it's SOP for singles site adverts, i.e, the photoshopped thing, but the general consensus is that there are a lot more guys posing as women online than the converse (so much for penis envy), and the chances of being accused of it rise dramatically if you happen to be young and cute, and your pics are professional glamor shots. Take a pic of yourself first thing in the morning when you still look like something a car ran over and the cat dragged in, with your dirty laundry hanging from the furniture, and it should cut it at least in half. Makes it problematic if you're trying to create a particular image, but I think that's the theory behind the cock shot, put you best foot forward. Forewarned is forearmed, you should be thanking them for saving you the time of finding out later that this is indeed their best side. As a disclaimer, I've never even taken a cock shot, or thought about it, although I suppose I would if someone asked, nobody ever has, and I'm not anticipating it. I'm not sure if a full frontal nude shot is the same thing, that's more like truth in advertising. I'm half Scandinavian, so that kind of modesty just isn't in my nature, but I wouldn't send a full frontal either, unless it were a request.

That can do it too I think, and gastric band surgery is stress - anything that interferes with the absorption of nutrients in the gastrointestinal system.

You are right in some cases, Janahx. Stress is high up on the list of things that cause hair to fall out, but a lot of people are not aware of what those kinds of surgery can do to them. You can't swallow pills, you have to be very careful about chewing food, as I said mind the teeth because your body having food taken away from it will feed off itself. The surgery is far from fail proof either. People learn to eat around what they are allowed and bypass what the surgery is supposed to make happen. side note Stress=horrid thing. It is also the number one reason for heart attacks(no matter what the health food industry would like people to believe) edit because my keyboard hates me and only seems to want to type every other letter.
