What would you call the Cross Road Demons and Rumplestiltskin loan sharks? I ask because they make deals with people in exchange for something or a favor down the line. Is that a loan shark or is it something else?

Crossroad demons are a twist on very old magical practice, where guardian deities (or what have you) are invoked at crossroads. They used to hang people at crossroads too, it's a very old meme.

Rumpy (OMG ROBERT CARLYLE!!!) is another oldie, that "Lady or the Tiger" choice.

Check out the old stories, they're everyplace. Loan sharks LOAN you stuff, and want the loan and the vig, but they are straight up about the price, and the PRICE. Rumpelstiltskin is no loan shark.

I gave up on Supernatural a few seasons ago. Once Upon A Time is actually interesting, and the recapping on Television Without Pity will get you caught right up, Lucy!
