On his http://newtgingrich360.com website.
It's not the biggest deal in the world, but what ever happened to the days when you could go to a candidate's site and just ask questions, shop a candidate, if you will?

To do ANYTHING interactive on Newt's site, you have to pledge that you are A) A Gingrich Supporter and B)You will be polite.

I know those aren't big things to ask ... but it certainly feels like an indicator that things have gotten even uglier in this GOP Circus than we even imagined.

One can not "lose" what one never had a chance of winning anyway.
Suggesting he is doing something to LOSE the race,almost suggests it is his to win,and that just ain"t so [:D]

No, he is trying desperately to win by what he considers to be the most effective means - and his methods clearly reveal what a sociopath he is as a candidate, and what a disaster he would be if he ever tastes power again.

I tend to vote Republican but Newt has never been one I would vote for under any circumstances.

I would be more likely to vote for Sen. Santorum than Speaker Gingrich.

I wouldn't vote for Mr. Gingrich if my vote was bought and paid for (and we're talking six figures, here).

I am starting to see this as another election in which I will not be participating (other than campaigning on my own behalf).

The Ron Paul campaign is demanding that Newt Gingrich pay the medical bills for Eddie Dillard, a Paul supporter whose foot was broken Tuesday after Gingrich staffers intentionally stomped on it.

Oh come on, this whole fucking thing is SCiFi at it's best...

Have you seen this number yet?
The RNC is now making moves to force the race into tie mode Note the last sentence of the second paragraph, then calculate all the percentages of the vote each candidate has won in the respective primaries and guess what? You have a tie with Newt actually poised to pull ahead.
   Honestly do you think that the RNC is making a deal out of this memo to the press because they want to add to the impression the race is out of control?
   It's Romney buyer's remorse from the highest levels.

The gist of the thread though is about the level of insecurity among these candidates in the republican primary.

But in regard to your comment I couldn't be _tortured_ enough to vote for ANY of these idiots.

However at the top of the webpage it says "We are a network of Newt Gingrich Supporters and Volunteers" so I don't think it's a bit odd that they ask you if you actually do support him. And if you are like me and think he is a asshole, why would you want to join his fan site anyway?

I vote R more often than not but I don't recall in the last 30+ years ever voting a straight ticket.

Different jobs need a different mindset.

My favorite example is District attorney who needs to be a hard-assed crime fighting conservative but the Public defender needs to be a hard core defend the downtrodden liberal. One should be an R, the other a D.

Lots of government positions need a certain mindset.

Personally, I don't think Obama has done that bad a job considering what he had to start with. You may very well be right about the winner in Nov considering this bunch of assclowns the RNC has decided to put into the race this time around.

As I've said before, they had 6 years more or less to groom a good candidate and it's like they're trying deliberately to fail.

That does bring up the question of how many 'supporters' are actually on that site? And of those, how many are trolls from hatewatch groups, the FBI, or people who simply said, 'yeah, whatever' to get on and look around?
