Pinkee, do you mean an actual tattoo on the palm of your hand or henna? Just curious because the henna is not permanent; fades in a matter of weeks. As far as an actual tattoo on the palm of your hand, though I am no tattooist, nor do I have or ever had a tattoo on the palm of my hand (though I do have tattoos), I wonder as much wear and tear that the average hands get if it would not eventually wear off. I did know someone who had a tattoo on the top of her foot that wore off in places, or faded, I was told because of friction of wearing shoes. I have wanted to add to one I already have to have it extend down to the top of my foot, but have been hesitant because of this information. Anyway....just interested about an actual tattoo on the palm of someone's hand, since you mentioned it. quote:
ORIGINAL: pinkee i am also considering getting a tattoo on the palm of my hand...probably my left hand. i want a traditional Indian design. You can see what i mean at hunza dot com. pinkee
