This one work from home company claims they know all the most active expired domain names out there and you sign up and they'll send you a list of domain names everyday and you buy them, and then when netusers click on the links and go to this domain name you make money for all the traffic coming to this domain name.

The prices are anywhere from 5 all the way up to 25 and you can supposedly have as many as you want. they showed a spread chart of this supposed user making 3,000 in one month all cause a ton of people clicked on the domain name he bought.

I'm pretty skeptical of all that kinda stuff, but who knows someone out there may really have a cash cow going for them, I however have passed on signing up since I am skeptical, and the whole idea of  make money from home, was to you know, make money not spend it on things that may not bring in the dough they promised to bring in.

The really good soon-to-be-expired domain names go to auction where people with big cash like my former employer snap them up. The affordable domain names won't generate the traffic needed to make them profitable.

You were wise to turn this down.

How are you ever going to come up with enough money to buy a domain name ? Just asking.

Here's the quick and easy answer to this SCAMM!M!M!M!M!M!M

You have to pay for the list, right?

Why wouldn't the company offering the list buy the domains?

They'll tell you, "Too many for us to process."... BULLSHIT !  There's not too many for YOU to process, now are there?

You lose twice - once giving them money for the list

Twice when you buy worthless names. <But they don't care about that, do they?>  See how far you get with asking for a "money back guarantee."  LOL!

SCAM !M! !M! !M! M! !M! !

It's possible, not probable.

The best way to make money from home is to come up with a scheme to sell things to people who want to make money from home.

No, according to them, they give you the listfree , you buy the names off the list though. The company offering the list, wants you to have them to" make money off of" because they're a business that wants to help you make money* cough cough yeah right cough cough *

If someone is willing to sell them for $5.00 do you really think they are worth anything ? Was it T P Barnum that said, There is a sucker born every minute, and 10 more to take his money. Go to school, learn a trade and make money the old fashioned way.

So, you're buying the NAMES from a list they have?
Again, why would they give away the list?
You say the company "claims they know all the most active expired domain names out there."

Now why are those for sale?  If they're "active" <whateverTF that means> why does this company have them for sale?  If the company doesn't have them for sale, who are you supposed to buy them from?  Wait....... a "different" company?

Are you familiar with "whois.com" ?

I'll wager that the list company and the company that owns the domain names might, just maybe, be THE SAME OWNERSHIP!

All I can say is "do NOT do this."  If you now go do it, my hands are clean.

I think that you should buy about 20 names from the list and then get back to us on how that worked out for you.

From the video the way t hey explained it is nobody owns domain names, you pay rent on them , and if you forget to pay for the domain name or choose not to keep it or what ever, it goes back into the public arena for the public to grab. This website, researches all these expired domain names, and compiles them giving them a grade of a b c etc etc then passes the list  to you, and then you buy the domain.

I told them no thanks.

here's a question for you......

who pays you the money that these people are supposed to earn?

i mean, let's face it, we don't pay anything to click on this site. no-one pays to click on my sites (i have three and another on the way) and unless a person gives their card details how is the site going to get their money.

i'm willing to bet that this site you are talking about gave you a load of BS about ' the big money people don't want you to make money, they just want your money. this is totally risk free and we guarentee you will make money...repeat in different words....repeats again in different words.....blah blah blah blah'

how many different site are you buying the domains from? it's only a few i can guarentee you for sure that the site 'giving' you the list already 'own' the domain names. as i said, i own three sites, all have their own domain name but all three are hosted with one server and under one account.

now here's something else for you to think of.......i have had to wait three years to get my domains back after my cunt of an ex cancelled everything without telling me, and some arse of a company snapped them up and tried to charge me stupid money to buy them back. i couldn't afford to do that and so lost everything! i've only just got everything back.

wherever there is something that sounds too good to be true there is someone willing to pay for it. either that person, or someone else, stands to lose something because of it. only the person 'selling' the dream in the first place wins and gets that cash.

It's redirects and referrals. Somebody clicks on a dead link, advertisers pay to put their links on the page.

They do pay to do that, but usually only if somebody clicks on the link, it's very small amounts, and this doesn't happen frequently.

i.e., it might pay something if you have like a thousand of them, it's an economy of scale thing. I don't know if I've ever seen an actual statistical breakdown, and I think skepticism is warranted in this case if you don't have a lot of disposable income you're just looking to do something with.

There's a pretty simple rule that I use for discerning truthfulness in advertising. Let's say there is a scheme to make money or to make you lose weight or to give you a free ipod. If it were true, wouldn't everyone you know be lining up to do it or buy it? If you could lose weight with a pill wouldn't everyone in the world be buying the stuff? If you could make money from home wouldn't everyone you know be doing it? If that's not happening then it's generally not for real. I mean it's good to ask questions because you never know, but overall if something sounds too good to be true then it is.

there's some that probably wouldn't, but for the most part hell yes they'd line up.

I used to have a domain name:
Face Book.

The family used it as a picture album for a while.

Some American folks have been renting it for a while I think and I believe they would like to buy it properly... something to do with their own business.

Might make a bob or two.

Honey....if you could make that much money (sending them the nominal fee of 25 - 100 bucks to get the "secret")....don't you think they'd do it themselves and keep the money?

Trust me kiddo....as someone who's made a shitload of money.....

Ain't nothing in this world for free.

(Especially "free money").

Exactly. If I found a way to make money, the LAST thing I'd do is offer to share it with others. I be setting things up for myself and my family and other people that I care for instead of giving it away to strangers for a small sum of money. I'd be raking in the big money instead.

Well it was worth investigating at least. And I did say no.
