You have exciting work. Lots of cloak and dagger and people dying in "traffic accidents" and found floating in rivers, I imagine. And who do you trust? Your boss? A judge? A politician? A co-worker? A milkman? A police officer? An agent from a secret service? Your wife? None of them, of course: they can all be affiliated with the sociopaths that released the anthrax bacteria in 2001, the West Nile virus in New York, or the HIV.
Yesterday I was googling a bit for suspicious deaths in the biological warfare business, and guess whom I ran into? Timmy McVeigh. That was a surprise.
It is good that I have no clue. Anyone who does is likely to turn up dead.
Actually, most of it is quite mundane. A woman convinced that terrorists have put white powder in her foot powder and now she has white powder all over her bedroom slippers. And wants me to package it up and send it to the lab for testing. Other days, it's much more practical.
If nobody died, it isn't dangerous. Likely she has psoriasis and she is shedding, or it is mold, or cigarette ashes.

Really! [:-] I am glad that you cleared that up. You know so much! I bet you know the price of old iron too? It so happens that I own a pile of derelict iron in Paris. It is still some kind of tourist attraction, but - in confidence - it actually is quite decrepit and I have got to have it scrapped. I have been trying to sell it to local iron mongers, but they for some unfathomable reason consider me to not be trustworthy! I say! But I dare say that such a solid character as yourself will be heartily embraced by them when you offer to sell them the tower. So how about buying the thing from me and selling it on to them? You stand to make a nice profit. Just make me an offer. The pig iron in it is just over seven thousand tonnes.
