Hi Mary. Welcome to the swamp.

To alter your pics, go to you profile. look to the left column. Click 'edit profile'. Scroll to the bottom. Note "Select a photo to upload or delete" Select from the box adjacent. Check the box labled "Check here to remove this photo". Hit the "Update Profile" button. To upload, select again from the "Select a photo to upload or delete", this time you are choosing the display position of the photo you mean to post. Hit the "Choose file" button, then navigate to the image you want. Select and upload it. Hit the "Update Profile" key.

If you experience any problems, try closing your browser and then reopening it.

Different subject, altering you Avatar photo. Scroll to the top of any Collarchat page. This one for example. Note upper right. Click 'My Profile'. Scroll down halfway. Note on left, 'My Avatar'. In center, adjacent, is a link titled, "Upload my picture (will replace the existing one)". Hit it. Navigate to the photo you want to use, select and upload. Note the limit of 145 pixles. Upon success, scroll to the bottom of the page and hit the "Apply" key.

Yer done.

Bonus. If you write something in the "signature" box and check the "Always attach signature in posts" box, then you words of wisdom will be attached to every comment.
