I dont see what the big deal is.. what the govt passes off as the inflation rate is a joke so a few cents added here and there to the minimum wage rate doesnt really mean a whole lot in real terms..

Actually Romney s taking the position smart conservatives should take. The minimum wage is popular and increases are always popular as well. These fights over minimum wage increases just let progressives fund raise and pound home the "cons hate working people" message. So index the minimum wage to inflation and take the club away from progressives.

This more than anything besides the whole eliminate Medicare thing shows how completely out of touch with reality the conservative leadership is.

Lemme tell ya... Mitt gets a bum rap from everybody. Before he invented The Tabernacle Health Plan for Massachusetts, you couldn't get the MegaHealth (totally bullshit) Health plan costing $450 in Mass (when it cost $200 everywhere else ... but was literally worth nothing with it's NO Office Visits, and $10k deductible.
The only shame was that the economy was so fucked up at that point (Mitt's Grand Exit for the Capaign Trail) that the people who worked in shops where there was no healthcare offered and those holes in Romney's SafetyNet 1.0 were so fucking big a LOT of lower middle class workers were compelled to take it or leave it since they made just a little too much to get Mass health at a bargain rate.
When the cameras finally point at the Massachusetts Citizen to ask them "How Was Mitt As A Governor?" Y'All better be wearing helmets.

As far as I remember, it was Jesus who said it was harder for a rich man to get in to the kingdom of heaven, than a camel to pass through a needles eye. It sort of puts Mitt Romney’s so called Christian values on the spot.
Personally I wouldn’t buy a second hand bicycle from him. He seems as false as a 7 dollar bill. But if you do earn in the seven digit bracket you might get it better with him at the rudder.
