"Mitt Romney has a dog problem, or rather, Mitt Romney has a problem with dog lovers. As a young father, Romney took the family on a road trip to Canada. The multimillionaire apparently ran out of room in the family car, so he stuck the dog on the roof. A protester in Colorado did the same thing, only without the dog. A cop agreed with the protester. It looked like animal abuse to him."

Again. The dog used to jump up into the crate. If he didn't like it, he wouldn't do that.
We hashed this out weeks ago.
This smells like a publicity stunt with a cooperating cop to me.

Apparently he forgot? Seems odd seeing as he is the one who started it.

Great responce.....the dog didn`t die.......

I`m picturing roofed kennels at every Romney rally, if he should ever get those pests out of the way.......

Responsible pet owners make decisions which are good for their pets. Dogs will eat poisoned meat, too. You're not supposed to let them just because they like it.

It might be a publicity stunt but it doesn't change the fact that Romney put his dog in crate on the roof of a moving car and that's just wrong.

I`d like to see the dog jump in while the crate is on top of the car.

A bit different than a kennel in the kitchen or other room, not moving at 60 MPH.

I havent actually heard this part of Romney. Further reason to dislike this guy. No sane owner of dogs would EVER do something this awful. The grand majority of pet owners treat their pets like a member of the family! They would no more place their dog/cat/horse/etc on their car/truck's roof than they would their 4-year old child. If he's willing to do that to one family member, would he do it to another?

That sound like the kind of person you want in the White House?

On a semi-related note: I've seen pictures of both President Obama and Mr. Romney holding children. Mr. Obama holds them like most of us would; like an adult being responsbile with holding a child with love and comfort. Mr. Romney holds them like they are a plaque and he might caught some awful skin eating virus. Mr. Obama raises his kids and Mr. Romney pays others to raise his kids.

Placing a dog on the roof of a moving car? *shakes head in disgust*

They were fresh out of 4 year old children, most Romneylings being full grown Osmonds at this point so they threw fido Romney up on the roof. And they can say what they want ... after about the 100th june bug in the head at 70mph you're gonna be so muddleheaded you'll let them lead you anywhere with relative glee.
Having grown up on a farm, I think it's poor treatment of livestock, PERIOD.

Not sure what`s worse.....

That he might not have known how stressful/dangerous/stupid it was or that he was to clueless to care.

Things we DON`T want, in our president.

Too funny, I can go down the list of topics and pick out "Owner 59's" without even looking to the right anymore!

If they still had that dog, he'd be about 30 years old.
