Not to mention health issues.
Over 50% of our dogs and cats in this country are now overweight. Causing them to suffer the same ailments that we humans suffer when we are overweight. Diabetes, cardio vascular disease, joint problems, etc.
People need to get up off their own fat asses and walk their pet's fat asses......DAILY.
Not to mention being much more aware of what the animals (as well as themselves obviously) are eating. There are too many poor quality pet foods being fed. And too many people giving pets table scraps and 'treats'.
