The mouse seemed to appear out of nowhere, which surprised the leopard.
She bent down and sniffed the mouse and flinched a bit like she was scared,
but the mouse just carried on eating like nothing had happened.

Even a gentle shove does not deter the little creature from getting his fill...
the determined little thing took no notice and just carried on.

The moral of this little story is, no one can push you around without your permission.

The moral of the story should be "ignorance can get you killed"...  I don't see a picture of the little mouse safely out of harms way.

A mouse peed in my oven last year and I had to buy a new one. (There is just no recovery from that kind of smell in stove insulation.)

Ergo, I. Hate. Mice. I'm rooting for the leopard.

ETA softened my hatred

you could have changed out the insulation for way less, I guess you aint making me any cookies when I come a callin'.   If a mouse got in there, you don't heat that bitch up very often.

Oh, well, we will just have to go straight for the blowjobs, and order out chinese.

I did price that out. The repair cost more than my stove was worth, so I went with a new to me (but used) upgrade...wasn't much more than the repair cost. Either way, mice suck.

You're lucky.  Leopards are constantly breaking into my house and pissing in my oven.  Wankers.

haha good point -- but it's still so cute. =p

Kaliko -- I'm not a fan of wild mice moving into my stuff, making nests, crapping out gooey babies, and peeing/poo'ing everywhere they can imagine, either.
I have had pet rats, though, and they're brilliant. =p Not much different from wild ones, really, they're just more familiar.
Oh, and rats hate mice, too.

My bad...I forgot to include this image of the leopard giving the mouse a flower
as a symbol of his eternal surrender. They both lived happily ever after.

Looks like the leopard is just enjoying his salad before the appetizer course from where I am.

Yes rats are smart. Also fun to watch. I rescued 2 rats and 2 mice that was together in a container. Now down to one rat. They all got along at first but the rats started to attack the mice so had to stop letting them play together.
