It sucks that things didn't work out for you, but I don't think you should expect someone to make you a priority over their friends when you've never met and are still only considering having a relationship with them.

I'm not sure I can get a handle on what you actually knew of this potential person.. ultimately, from what I can tell.. all of this is onlien online.. online... internet... and frankly, for my money.. you don't know anyone or anything about them from that perspective...

as far as what you should think? ... find partners offline if you want an offline situation -- its gives you a better perspective to observe drama, hotheadedness, how they interact with you, with friends... see how they are in their own life.. and how they really might fit with you...

if you start online, however, keep it local and meet people as soon as possible.. for COFFEE... not to 'come to you' ...

if you want it all online.. then find partners online...

When I was new to, CM a fellow sub was very helpful in providing reality checks, especially with drilling the old "Never make someone an option who considers you a priority" into my head. I considered her to be unbiased and wise and would take her advice over a potential Dom who was triggering red flags.

I would never say "N says I can't speak to you," but rather "because of X, Y, and Z, I've decided we're not compatible. Sorry it didn't work out."
