What the fuck was that? I can't say the crowd responding with a rote name-calling chant puts them in a much better light. As for Sherrod, the left has pulled off an amazing distraction. By focusing so tightly on Sherrod as the sole subject, and framing her then as a poor, abused victim of a right-wing smear, the fact of video showing an audience roaring with laughter at the prospect of a story about a black social worker with some power sticking it to white people gets completely lost.

You're the one that felt the need to emphasize that Ms. Sherrod was black. You're the one pathetically trying to defend Breitbart's racist hit piece that everyone else has stopped trying to defend since it is so blatantly not what Breitbart claimed it was. If you don't like being called for race baiting then don't do it.

It doesn't require any emphasis, Ken, and I didn't add any. It is, however, a relevant fact in the incident captured on video. The speech, after all, was given at an NAACP annual banquet.
