I wonder what the hell they mean by "obstruct", if the pharmacist refuses to fill your prescription isnt that obstruction?

The dictionary says Obstruct: hinder or prevent the progress or accomplishment of;

I cannot believe that a decision that is between a patient and her doctor can be arbitrarily superseded by some goddamned, fucking pill monkey. Fill the scripts, assholes!

Sue the bastards for discrimination if they won't. This is the equivalent of something like refusing to serve an African-American because of some personal objection. Could you get away with that? I think not. Similarly you cannot refuse service on the basis of religious differences.

What a fucking country - everyone wants to decide for you how you should live your life when they cannot even manage their own lives very well.

It is distinctly troubling. It's even more troubling that a couple of the people on the board have obvious agendas.

This is truly a disturbing trend.

EDIT: I do not find the moral grounds argument compelling. Christian Scientists usually avoid the pharmacy profession for example. If the job involves doing things against your faith, the problem is not with the job but with your choice of career. Just my opinion.

Have we stepped back a few decades? Was there a massive time warp somewhere? I dont give a frog's fat butt what a pharmacist thinks. It is a person's CHOICE. Oh, wait, I am not so sure that still applies here.
