William do you think they will be crazy enough, or desperate to use them? I hope they are just bluffing but you never know about fanatics. And if they do send a few boats at our carrier along with some mines do you think we will go overboard with our response? I wonder if the American public is ready for another protracted war?

Damn we need to become self-sufficient with our energy needs and let that part of the world burn with their own hate for each other and live in the 6th century if they wish.

Saw a good take on it yesterday on Fareed Zakaria. How the cold war between Iran and the Saudi's have Syria in the middle of it....Dangerous place. We need to be careful.

How long have I been preaching non petroleum energy development so that those people in the middle east can "Go back to eating dirt and rocks"?

I will not, though, see our men and women killed by a bunch of fanatics. If they wish to meet Allah as a martyr, we must help them on their way.
