The times Im a raging asshole is only if I feel the person is just begging for it. Also I have this awful need to tell my truth ----> something that is somewhat frowned on around here. (but surprisingly -not always).

Status: offline 		Three reasons for me. Have been internally processing a lot of new internal/external experiences lately. I desire to neither create, nor participate in, maelstroms of any kind. There have not been as many posts lately that captured my interest.

Perhaps I should consider adding a fourth....maybe I'm far more boring than I ever realized.

No, not so much for me. I try to create the world I want to live in and as a self-entertaining sort, when there's nothing of substance (first choice) which interests me, I'll banter (second choice). Usually, though, I find something, somewhere which interests me. Often I'll check out a thread just because someone I like to read posted on it or a thread title will draw me in. Most often what happens is that I read a thread and it causes me to go data mining either here or on the net and I run into all sorts of other interesting stuff, so in that way, I use this place as a jumping off point to find stuff that is of interest.

A recent thread sent me hunting and I ran across this fascinating article on astro-theology. I probably wouldn't have found it if not for the forums so I'm good and when I'm not, I go for a while. I remember a post that Aswad made that caused me to do that very thing and I found an article that caused a light bulb to go off in my head and it enabled me to 'get' a fundamental aspect of myself and satisfied a 'why' question for me. If I never got anything else out of collarme, that one thing will have made my years spent here worth while.

.. and I've gotten way more than that as I've made friends here that I've gone on to have flesh to flesh contact with so, I'll be sticking around.. or not.. most of the time, some of the time or part of the time. Whatever works for creating the world I want to live in.

I think others probably do similar but who knows what motivates a body? I only know what motivates me.
