So I'm in the market for a device,I get the impression from the Lady that I just might be wearing this thing for some extended stretches(She does like to be vague....lol)We,mostly me since I was ordered to) have looked at some of the commercial devices carried by the Stockroom,the cb-6000 chrome ,premium edition caught out eye.
But that I cam across some of the custom sites,such as Chastity Heaven ,now these are about twice the amount,but are advertised as sleeker hence more comfortable and with lifetime(stainless steel)guarentees.Both devices have steel in them so airport security obviously isn't an issue...the device would be removed.What I am asking is the opinion of folks who have seen/handled/utilized these devices.
Is custom made,though more expensive ,the way to go....or is the cb-6000 a fine product and spending twice the amount is foolish?

Look, this really is not my kink. But I have noted it is a basic rule, if you want something, no matter what it is, you have to pay enough for it so that it is worth having. The price tag is not the issue. Quality is not simply given away. And if it isn't quality, it is probably going to disappoint.

Take the example of BREAD. There is the cheap stuff. And there is the good stuff. I don't know about you, but I have NEVER paid for the cheap stuff. My Parents taught me better, by buying it. The stuff is basically inedible. But it is called bread. It goes much the same with any other product on the market. Where the price line crosses the quality line is where to look. On either side of this point, you are wasting $$. Either by paying too much, or by buying a product that does not work for you.

Having addressed the question, I will add this thought. I wonder why it isn't more popular to get a couple piercings and chain them together. A Prince Albert. A belly button. A couple luggage locks and a few links of chain.

But then, I often look at things differently than other people.

Talk to Roch, or search for his posts, I know he had some recommendations.

FIT is the big issue...and each model has its issues. The new silicone one offers hygiene issues, so I gather it's a no.

Frosted, the PA thing SOUNDS glamourous, and in the short term is Extra FUN. However. IMAGINE. That piercing, which is really a thin tissue piercing. Fighting that surge of blood that menz evidently get from time to time in the night. Or when...stimulated.

Blood play is way more fun when you PLAN it.

Not sure I'm "buying" this line of reasoning. I get fresh bread from my baker and it's less than half the price of what is available at my local supermarket and its better quality too. Making intelligent, well-informed shopping decisions works for me. A higher price doesn't always mean higher quality.

Some of us don't want permanent piercings in our body, cock, etc. The piercings get in the way of play and can take away from other aspects of enjoying the body.

Good question. However, there really is no "right" or "wrong" answer. It's all about what makes you feel best about the experience.

Let's face it, 90% of forced chastity is mental. The device is a very visual reminder that someone else is controlling your cock. That visual symbol plays a very powerful role in the experience. You have to go into it understanding that. So the question becomes, "what mental effect are you trying to achieve?"

For example, some people like a heavy dose of visual cues that they are in "lock up". Those people usually find that big, clunky, chastity devices (especially those that include some type of leather belt) are the best. For these people, the bigger and more visible the device is, the better the experience. A good example of this type of device is the Houdini Harness.

Others find that metal chastity devices are better because they LOOK impenetrable. While that perception may not match the reality, remember that I said that 90% of this is mental. So perception is important. For people who like this effect, "The Brig", and "The Penistentiary" are good choices.

I find that the basic plastic devices are quite satisfactory. They're just as secure as metal devices, but, they tend to be more comfortable, and pinch less, than metal.

As far as the CB-6000 Chrome, it may be the best of both worlds. The CB-6000 is probably the most popular device out there. And the Chrome version gives all of the benefits of the CB-6000, but it has a shiny chrome finish that makes you feel like you're locked up in a metal device. Just make sure you realize that the CB-6000 Chrome is a PLASTIC device. The "chrome" is just a chrome paint finish. Just like the CB-6000 Wood isn't really made of wood. It's also plastic with a wood paint finish.

So when you're wearing it, the CB-6000 Chrome makes you think that it's metal (because it looks like shiny metal), but it really isn't. Personally, I like the compromise in that (looks like metal, comfortable like plastic). But if you want real metal, get the Penistentiary.

As you get more experience, you may even want to try one of the more scary looking devices with "teeth". Those give a completely different experience. Those are more sadistic, and are better suited to people who want to mix forced chastity and CBT. If this is what you desire, I'd recommend the "Kali's Teeth" design. The Kali's Teeth device will make you feel "punished" each time you start to get an erection. This device definitely isn't for everyone. But as I said, it just depends on what mental state you're seeking.

There are a lot of custom made devices out there too. There are far more than I could ever review. My advice would be to try them, and then let us know what you think.

On a different note, I have to say that the Stockroom is a popular site, and they have great stuff. However, you can definitely get the items cheaper. I think a CB-6000 cost around $150 (US) on Stockroom.com, but the last time I purchased one, I ordered it from a company in China for about half that price. So shop around and see if you can find a better price than what you're seeing on Stockroom.

In this case(as like many others) you do get what you pay for. Which is right for you depends on what you are trying to accomplish with it. Many say the cbs are the best but as someone that has dropped one on a hard floor and watched it shatter I suggest metal(always metal) That does mean they have to be removed if you want to fly and that does mean the keyholder has to be willing to check for health issues while in use. If you are new to male chastity I would suggest starting with something small...the the Curve is pretty good. But if you want to go full storm and know what you are doing....metal. I suggest this securest locking chastity device made I love the keys too.

As for the idea of piercings...they make devices for those as well. The idea being to train the man not to get uncontrolled erections. Which they do learn over time when they have no way of getting out of the device. If you want to know how to kill an erection quickly I would suggest Kali's teeth

I didn't mention this in my earlier post, but I have also broken several CB-6000's. When you pay over $100 for a device, and then watch it break, that can be pretty disappointing.

hahaha Roch, one slipped out of my hands over a tile floor and just exploded into many pieces. It made me so mad. They make Kali's teeth in different sizes, you might not have had the right size...or had it in the right place. On different men they can be put in different places to have more of an ...effect on them.
