quote:

(From the same news article)
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie answers a question in Trenton, N.J., Monday, Jan. 30, 2011, about gay marriage issues being considered by the legislature. Christie says that he is personally opposed to same sex marriage and the issue should be decided by voters, not the legislature.

Yeah, I believe Gov. Chris Christie has not been 'updated' on how our form of goverment works from the Despotism he's running. The voter votes in people to represent them. Those people, sometimes called 'representatives', vote on laws that those who put them in office desire to have done. So in essence, if the representatives are voting in favor of gay marriage, I'll take a guess the voters are most likely in favor of it too, since they'll be voting on the representative's run for re-election in the future.

I haven't Checked Owner ... but is Fatso up for re-election in Nov? And are there still a lot of Catholics in the state, I mean political catholics like there were in the 60s and 70s.
Just wondering if because they are technically opposed, if they will like in NY lay pressure on him to veto.

There are a lot of same-sex couples living in Jersey, but working in New York, saying to their legislators, "Why am I paying taxes to live here, when I'm considered a full-human-being right across the river where I go to work every day?"

To which I say, "Come to Westchester!"

Yo Owner... just giving this one a bunt cause I still want to know what's going on with Fatso's veto threat.
