I made pancakes eggs and toast an cut them into heart shapes. Some big an then some little, I put the lil ones in the center of the big ones and the toast lil ones on the side. It was a little more pain staking than I thought, but utterly worth it!

Well I had one of my home made freezer toaster waffles dry on the way out the door with a cafe au lait. Then some plain yogurt with apple, raisins and walnuts, I put together all by myself, about mid morning, got interrupted and just finished it about an hour ago. Long breakfast.

We don't DO Valentines Day around here.

Although, my boss mighta hadta.......after he realized what day it was, about 11am-ish, I saw him furiously typing on his phone. [:D]

I have no idea if G.D. is cooking dinner or if we are having leftovers. I guess I will find out when I get home in a few hours.

i had a coffee first thing. did my chores and took my grandparents to an appointment. i didn't get to eat until this evening.

as for valentines day, it hasn't been acknowledged in my direction so just another day.

your breakfast sounds nice Tfb.

Thank you, I wish I had actually planned it out, I could have outlined them with whip cream, or strawberries or something.

One of these days I want to have fruit and chocolate fondu in front of a fireplace, we don't have a fire place, but plenty of hotels do.

That sounds like a nice breakfast and a very sweet thing to do for
someone you love. And I love fondue chocolate or cheese. I hope
you and your partner had a happy Valentines day.
I got up and made cookies for people and treats
for dogs. I went over to my moms and she made
breakfast for us. Then my stepdad came in with
cupcakes. And I got some very tasty chocolate truffles
in a very pretty heart shaped tin.
A much happier Valentines than last year.
I had a sciatica attack and was pretty much
bedridden for three months. So just not being
in physical agony was great, the treats were
just icing on the cake.

Thank you:) I am really happy your valentines day this year was better than last year:) I' m maybe going to walmart today and see what is left over and half off, but maybe not. My dad is already annoyed I sprung a dental exam visit on him with out asking first.

next time maybe I'll make royal icing an frost the pancakes who knows.
