Politesub53 -> Murdoch tries again (2/17/2012 5:35:09 PM)

Todays news that Murdoch wants to start a Sun on Sunday is a tad disturbing, given the Sun was always the sister paper of the now Defunct News Of The World. It is more worrying that around a dozen Sun or ex Sun employees have been arrested recently in an inquiry into cash for info from government sources in the police or armed forces.

No doubt some will welcome this but I hope its a disaster from day one.

This one goes way past a few bad apples excuse......

We`re talking bribery of public officials by murdock`s companies......

Heard a British newspaperman today say the murdocks companies would be much much more valuable if the old man stepped down.......couldn`t happen to a nicer guy.

He`s not throwing the staff members involved under the bus.........yet.But I`ve no doubt that when indictments come down on them,he`ll fire them.

Actually he may well have lined them on the kerb already, even if not having pushed them under the bus. News International passed the names and details of the wrongdoings to the police, maybe as sacrificial lambs. Maybe todays news is just a sop to those still working at the Sun. Hard to tell with Murdoch.

I liked the related story in which he chewed out his employees for the awful unethical policies that inexplicably sprung up under him.  Like Dom Corleone asking the mob where they got their horrible ethics from.

In which case its initials, SOS, will be appropriate . . . .

Ah, I hope it happens. It'd be so good to see Murdoch's grip on the scrotum of the UK's political life begin to loosen.

I wish my ol man were around to see this.
Ol Bollock chops ass must be puckering every day, the feeling yes makes me more than just a little excited.

It's amazing how the wealthy never have to fear prison for their crimes.

It seems from the news yesterday that Murdoch is going to stay in the UK to oversee the setting up of the SOS and to ensure that there are no issues as there were with the NOW. Well that should put everyone's mind at rest then [sm=yeahright.gif]
