A little birdie pretty close to Romney's mass campaign says they have their nickers all in a twist as to how they are going to deal with this guy's endorsement being present on Mitt's website now that he just got outed, supposedly for threatening a former lover with serious injury if he revealed the relationship or his sexuality to anyone.
   While most are basically going with "just ignore it and squeeze the lemons into lemonade when the shit hits the fan" while others hard at work at courting what little support they can get right now from strongly conservative corners of the party are AMENDMENT it has to go.
   I just can't see this conversation or concerns even happening on the other side of the ticket at all.  The fact that this debate even exists is absurd to me in the year 2012... But that's Old PeePants for ya ... He'll bring back fucking Tube Radios and Edsels if ya give him enough rope.

I didn't look real hard for any startling articles about Babeau, but I seem to remember him being a major anti-immigration right wing hard ass. I guess he's got a cuddly side too <grin>.
   I hope Romney grows a set of balls and keeps the guy's endorsement on his site. And maybe Babeau can have a growth moment and realize threatening his boyfriends doesn't embed a lot of confidence in relationships.

Mitt Romney's Arizona co-chairman steps down after allegations of misconduct

Mitt Romney parted ways with his Arizona campaign co-chairman after allegations of misconduct made by a man with whom Romney’s co-chairman previously had a relationship.

Pima County Sheriff Paul Babeau, who is running for Congress in Arizona, resigned from Romney’s campaign after the Phoenix New Times, an alternative weekly magazine, reported that Babeau had threatened to deport the man, a Mexican immigrant, if he revealed the nature of the relationship.

Babeau held a press conference Saturday and acknowledged he is gay. He denied the allegations of misconduct against him.

Babeau, who has risen to national prominence with his strong opposition to illegal immigration, campaigned with Romney and was featured in robocalls in Iowa attacking Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who was then running for the GOP nomination. He said he’ll continue his congressional campaign in Arizona.

Babeau should be tried by a court and sentenced to the death penalty for his criminal abuse of office. There is nothing worse than a sworn officer who abuses their privileges for personal gain, and there is no punishment severe enough.

BUT rotting in solitary on death row until the warden gets around to pumping poison into his veins... That'll do good enough.

Threatening the lover with kicking him out of the US is really low.In DV cases,even an illegal get`s protection under the law.

There are a lot of vicious motherfuckers who when they know someone is an illegal,or is in some sort of real trouble,will use that knowledge as a weapon to take advantage of the illegals.

The fact that this guy`s an LEO makes what he did ten times worse.

I could care less how it affects Mittens,but I won`t.......he`s going down on Santorum as it is.[:D]

Yeah, I saw that in the news this morning (was out prepping and partying last night). Yet another hypocriticloset-rightwingnut, of the logcabin-sect. In supposedly social-conservative aggressive-lawman Arizona, of all places.

Frankly, I hope stuff like that continues to explode in the rightwing-republicans' faces. Zero-sum politics did in the Romans, Brits, and Commies, but the neocons seem too stupid to recognize that.

  The other thing is that I think I hvae been spelling his name wrong. It's Babeu. Not that that matters a lot ....

I was actually, after reading the article IMPRESSED with just how SEAMY the whole affair was... I personally think it's a breakthrough that democrats should watch cautiously.... You realize how much exposure  republican candidates can get if they start appearing on JERRY SPRINGER?

If that baldie sheffif's boyfriend has a nice head of "pullin' hair" those two could become the darlings of white trash America for instance.

Fox News is about to take a huge dump on either this guy or Romney as soon as the commercial break is over ... Might want to watch and see what they have to say. They've been preety quiet about Romney lately...

Nah. they just regurgitated the newspaper piece about him getting bounced from Romney's campaign.
Can't have butch gays around when you're out quietly destroying your party.
The Threatening Sheriff being around would make it hard to deny your campaign's Dirtier than Nixon's.
