Yes I'm being curious again, it never stops lol  I was wondering if we had any other people here who love animals (not in the wierd way! ).
I am a dog person and always have been. I've had sweet mutts and dobermans over the years. Now I currently have 1 red/white female pitbull who's very alpha, 1 male keeshond who is sweet but elderly and my spitfire fawn and black mask pekingese who think's he is Rambo.
I truly love these dogs like they were my kids and I in fact call them my *furkids*. Over the years I've had cats too which I love the affection ones, the standoffish ones I don't get so attached too.
I've always had this real bond with canines and I loveee wolves they are so totally awesome.
My sub is a cat person  he has two cats that he adopted from Petsmart and the one is a gorgous black/white long hair who's very sweet. The other is black/orange and hates everyone but him. I rarely see her at all as she likes to hide.

Anyone else wanna brag about their babies?

I have 6 cats; Jay, Silentbob, Jinx, Minx, Leopold, and Gato
I also have two dogs; a mixed chow/husky that I call Buggerbutt, and a mix rottie/pitbull who is called Budweiser.
I had a bird, but he died last year. I also had 4 hampsters, and a ferret throughout the years. All have moved on to better things.

I love dogs and cats, I think, pretty evenly. Although being forced to have only one I would go with a kitty cat. I like the fact cats are easier to take care of and can leave alone for longer periods of time. They are just as affectionate but not in the 24/7 I must be around you like dogs.

Dogs do have one big thing over cats though, they play much more with you. The only thing my ex and i fought over was our dog. I loss... :(

My perfect house would have two cats and two dogs in it.

I am a dog person. My Sheba is a 6 yr old german shepard. She is smarter then some people. She has been to Chicago 5 times with me. a 12 hour drive. I can tie rags to her feet, spray water onto floor, toss a biscuit.  She jumps around--in theory cleaning the floor.

I'm a cat person, but I don't dislike dogs.  I typically like all animals, including snakes.  Now, granted some animals (dogs aren't excluded from this) can be stand-offish or have other personality quirks that aren't so nice.  Thankfully, I'm excellent judge of animal personality, so I can pick out the good ones.   Right now I have two cats.  Tinker's a sweetheart and Diego (I let Pup pick him out, lol) is an ass, but he's slowly growing out of it.  I think.  They're both my babies, VERY affectionate (almost clingy).

Dogs are too easy. They will slobber over anyone from whom they can score some food. The human to dog bond is extremely well established. By contrast, cats must be tamed as they are closer to their feral nature than dogs are at this point. So cats really are wild animals that have been domesticated - but not too much. And that's how and why they keep saving civilization as champion mousers.

I'm a cat person.

Cats. Have 3 of them. One my son was on the way home from a party at about 7am and seen a cat run into the middle of the road where it was hit and killed. A kitten ran out to be at her side. He stopped and picked up the kitten and hes been with us since. Don't know what I would do without my feline companions.

I like dogs much more than cats, I find cats quite creepy I also think that some cat people mistake the fact that cats are hard to train as some sort of mysterious wonderment rather than just putting it down to the fact that cats are just stupid.

I have a dog he is a Weimaraner, they are a very intelligent breed and they learn things quickly though they are also very independent dogs. Where as some dog breeds are specifically bred to be companions to people Weimaraner’s are bred to be working dogs though they are still very social and they are friendly to humans and other dogs.

You may wish to retract the 'stupid' comment with regards to cats, lest all the cat people around you unsheath their claws.  I have no dispute with your comment about the Weimaraner, however.  They are intelligent dogs.

That black and white kitty looks like Papa kitty did.

As far as who is Dom/me or Not

Ozzy and Zeus are Dom
Misty and Junior are submissive
Precious is a switch and Mojo well shes only submissive to Zeus and sometimes Ozzy, the rest of them She Dominates.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with 6 cats.

I was raised with cats and love them. I had one dog in my life for 3 years and loved him. Right now I live with my Dom and we have a no pet rule and I love that. From now on I plan to just love other people's pets.

I love cats and I like dogs is probably the best way to put it.

Currently, I am the proud owner of two adorable female kitties.  Living in a townhouse without a private yard, cats are a lot easier as they can be kept indoors all day.  Should I ever move to a house with a fenced-in yard, I very likely would add one or two dogs to My family.

I love both cats and dogs.  We don't currently have any pets, though.  I had a gray tabby named Squeaky for 18 years.  He was my baby and he'd follow me wherever I went, just like a dog.  Our miniature dachshund died about a year ago.  His name was Oscar.  He was an absolute sweetheart.  If I were to get another dog today, I'd get another miniature dachshund.  Over the years, we've had countless cats, none purebred.  We've had dalmatians, labrador retrievers, a poodle once...and a bunch of Heinz 57.  I even gave thought to getting myself one of those toy cats that purr and move when you pet them.

My profile name is Tiger because I bite people, and sassy friends accuse me of being a vicious man eater, I have nothing against Tigers it is just the little normal cats I don’t like though on thinking about it to be fair I don’t like little dogs much also and they can also be stupid in the same way as cats and even more usless.

It is not the intelligence levels of cats that I object to it is the cat owning people who put their pets silliness down to some sort of other worldly bizarre mystical cat wizard quality rather than the fact that the cat is just not that clever. In the same sentence the same people usually say the reason they don’t like dogs is because dogs are friendly and do what they are told which they say means that they are stupid, personally I don’t see the logic in the argument.
