But Fargle, he's a politician...
(how do you know a politician is lying? Sound is coming out of his mouth.)

Where's the President's memo?

In Gingrich's case, that's not even necessary. He lied to his first two wives with the organ not being his mouth and its emanations not being sound.

Pandering to people who believe in an inalienable right to big vehicles with gun racks?

erieangel -> RE: Memo To NEWT GINGRICH Re: Stop Lying. (2/22/2012 6:39:25 AM)

OMG!! I have to show that video to my son. He has been wondering how he will be transporting his shotguns next hunting season in my new Toyota Yaris.

What Gingrich should've said was:

"You can't put a gun rack in a Volt without looking like some over-pussified, dingbat, city-slicker-who-wouldn't-last-ten-minutes-in-the-woods, real man wannabe and failing miserably at it."

Sorry folks, but that's the way I see it.  Gun racks and Volts just don't mix.  It'd be like driving a Yugo in the Indy 500.

Of course you have the right to big vehicles with gun racks, as long as you can pay all the costs of them. Of course, after the Iraq war, I think the VA should be funded by gas taxes...

What's a "Yugo", and is it IRL compliant?

When the Berlin wall fell, we got to find out the sort of cars they drove in the East Bloc. The Yugo was a Eastern European car that someone realized would be so cheap in US dollars that they decided to import them (there was a Levi commercial of some guy trading a pair of Levi's jeans for a Yugo). Unfortunately they were worth what you paid for them...

Marc2b -> RE: Memo To NEWT GINGRICH Re: Stop Lying. (2/22/2012 8:41:37 AM)

A Yugo was some popsickle sticks, rubber bands, Elemer's glue and spray paint lumped together to resemble a car.  In other words, a triumph of the command economy.  I think the only thing a Yugo was compliant with was the American Mortuary Society's monthly quota.

Moonhead -> RE: Memo To NEWT GINGRICH Re: Stop Lying. (2/22/2012 8:59:50 AM)

Frankly, I reckon the lad who swapped a pair of strides for a Yugo in that Levis' advert was diddled.

Memo to anyone that thinks they can get Newt to stop lying:

The clue store is open, M-F 8 - 5.
