I love the idea that world leaders get to see ordinary Americans.

Wonder if him and LT got to slam a little port.  I understand he was gonna go see Lilly in NE, but was worried that the place was still glowing from the floods..............

Status: offline 		Interestingly he came to Ireland for three days just after the US visit before going on to Turkey. He visited some fairly ordinary farms etc. It seemed to go surprisingly well. Judging by the tone of the visits, his leadership may herald a more friendly chapter between China and the West, which can only be a good thing.

Status: offline 		Not only that, Anaxagoras, but when he tells the apparatchiks to increase agricultural productivity, he'll have a decent idea how production is done in the US and Ireland. I respect someone who learns the nuts and bolts and doesn't simply issue orders from on high.
