I absolutely fell in love with the Odd Thomas series as soon as I picked up the first book. I'm sad that school is now taking away all my leisure reading time though, because I have a lot to get caught up on.

I've read the entire series and have been waiting impatiently (for years) for the next book to come out. I've read that one is due out in summer of 2012, and one in 2013.

I do agree with some others who commented on the game of thrones. I'm not sorry (at all) that I read this. I've shared it with others who have similarly fallen in love, but it's difficult to wait for so long for the next part of the story. It's like missing an old friend you can't communicate with. You can only read the old letters and hope you will be reunited again someday. [&o]

Has anyone else discovered this gem? If not, I highly recommend you at least read the first book, Odd Thomas. If you're not hooked after that one, you never will be. (but I highly suspect you will be) I also see a movie or series being made out of this. It's that good.
