Status: offline 		Like about Bill Gates sending 5c toward a kidney dialysis machine for every pull tab sent to Microsoft? Well, one of those fools got elected to the House. Idiot claims link between Girl Scouts and Planned Parenthood based on something he read on the Internet, without fact checking it.

His own party is disowning his stance, with the GOP House Speaker handing out Thin Mints to other lawmakers, and singling out former Scouts for recognition.

Idiot.

Ya know, State House Reps say a lot of stupid things. It may be the case that in Indiana the Girl Scouts do help fund Planned Parenthood (the largest provider of abortions), and he dislikes that.

What happened to Freedom of Speech?

Or is it that you only like this Freedom when it suits?

Freedom of Speech means that the government is not permitted to squelch free speech. It in no way hampers me from pointing out idiocy. If a raving left winger or radical centrist said something this stupid, it would still be noteworthy.

Look at it from the Democrat's point of view. Either A) Many more boxes of cookies will be purchased to a good organization for girls and teenagers, OR B) Many Republicans get tossed in the next election. Its a 'Win-Win' situation for Democrats.

Here's the point, though. He's wrong. He's not immune from censure, which is another form of free speech.

Personally, I think any rep with such poor reasoning skills shouldn't hold office.
