No, I think that the issue probably revolves around her telling everybody, I am not paying any taxes, you have enough of my money. That sort of draws attention, sort of like playing 'Off a Pig for Christ' on a full tilt boombox at an traffic stop in Mississsippi.

While apparently she's been involved with Occupy, I haven't heard anything about her since she was a thorn in Bush's side: quote: Sheehan became an anti-war activist after her son, U.S. Army Specialist Casey Sheehan, was killed in Iraq. I think she is pretty stupid to think she can go up against the IRS and win, let alone stay outta jail for tax evasion (which is what deliberately not paying taxes is).. I dunno.. some people just want more than their 15 minute share of "fame" even if it is behind bars... [:D]

Stupid indeed. Almost as stupid as somebody starting a post about it, then painting the other stupid person, in fact a 'Dem,' as it turns out, as a target of a 'Dem' congresswoman and a 'Dem' president. Paranoia has a powerful effect. I think that the OP is concerned about the IRS pursuing stupidity audits and is feeling quite worried at this time.

Cindy Sheehan is an excellent object lesson for anyone who thinks the Dems believe in any cause, other than their own pursuit of power. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Daily Kos faked up some payroll stubs, from the years she and her grief were being so horribly exploited. Those are the years in question, with the IRS, aren't they? '05 and '06?
