xxblushesxx -> Any Lushies in the House? (2/22/2012 9:15:00 PM)

I am a Lush bath fanatic!

So far (some) of my faves are the
Blackberry bath bomb (this is my favorite pre or mid date night...I smell GREAT with this)
Twilight bath bomb
Dragon Egg bath bomb (another favorite date night bath. It makes me soft, glittery and I smell delicious!)
Rose Jam dubloom
Karma bubble bar

I also like to mix a bit of the lavender bubble bar with some of the vanilla bath bomb. It is very relaxing.

Am I the only lushy here?

I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Lush. Seriously. I have yet to get anything from there that I don't love to the point of wanting to marry it.

And for male Leather Tops, they have...... what?

You could have a Dorothy Bubble bar, not my favorite, but others LOVE it.
A Ma bubble bath bar,
A blackberry bath bomb,
A Mrs Whippy, which I forgot to mention in my opening post!
Or, if you really want to be decadent, and don't mind some glitter, a dragon's egg!

I heart the Lush though it's hard to come by here, and I have to smell stuff before I buy it. Each peach, fave scent!

To sound naive and stupid...what's a lush?

calamitysandra -> RE: Any Lushies in the House? (2/22/2012 11:18:59 PM)

I am another Lush addict.

The Bath melts!
The Bath Bombs!
The Bubble Bars!
The Massage Bars!
Everything else!

I love soooo much of their stuff. Even if it can get a bit pricey.

I thought you were evoking the ghost of lusciouslips past.

I thought of her though...

I've not tried Lush but since I've quit using Burt's Bees products I've been testing various other companies.

I really like Upper Canada a lot and I can get their products locally. But their products are very limited.

For most all of my skin care and makeup, I am going to Origins now. I like their company philosophy and want to support a company that doesn't use animal products nor test on them. I also like their ecological efforts A LOT. And most of all, their products actually do what they claim to do.

i can't stand it. i don't know how the girls work in the shops as i went in and within minutes had to get out as it gave me instant headache. i do like bodyshop bath oils, or rather used to. these days i'm much more of a shower rather than bath person.

it all looks very pretty and lots of my friends rave about it, but it just smells horrid to me. i hold my breath when i have to walk past the shops lol some of the stuff looks more like it should be eaten instead of washed with though. it's a shame and i wish i could use it.

Yes, when looking at the website I saw a lot of stuff that looks heavily scented. Most scents of that sort give me a horrible headache. I don't care for that sort of product. Anything I use has to be very very lightly scented, if at all. I wear a perfume I love, I don't want anything else.

I just ordered the catalog...I like to get Mom a few bombs for her birthday (and some masks for me).

Has anyone tried the henna?

OsideGirl -> RE: Any Lushies in the House? (2/23/2012 1:35:09 PM)

Way back when, I liked Lush. Then I learned how to make soap and realized their stuff isn't very good.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Any Lushies in the House? (2/23/2012 1:57:05 PM)

I've never tried their soap, I don't think... I like the body bars.

xxblushesxx -> RE: Any Lushies in the House? (2/23/2012 3:36:33 PM)

I don't use their soaps. I buy my "special soap" from these monks.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Any Lushies in the House? (2/23/2012 4:16:18 PM)

Why are lemon scents so hard to come by?? There used to be a lemon verbena soap that I got from Neiman-Marcus that I just loved. Now everything is "citrus" which is pleasing but NOT the same! The lemon hand soap from bath & body is not nearly lemony enough.

When I get to go on the TARDIS we are SO stopping in the 70's so I can get my Lemon Velvet stuffs!!

Citrus EOs tend not to stick. Real Lemon Verbena EO is fairly expensive. Lemon Grass Eo has the strongest lemon scent out of the three. It's like a lemon sucker.
