MarchHare0289 -> Young buck on site looking for that special someone. (2/24/2012 10:19:51 AM)

Hey all, just thought I'd send out the introduction post. Been into the love of bdsm for a long time now, but just really started looking for a partner in the lifestyle. Browsed my way across the web and found here, so why not give it a go right? As the title says, I am still fairly young as far as age goes born way back when in 89 when it was still vhs and monitor tv's. :P So not all that gown up yet, but getting there I think.

Little bit about me - Presently a service member in the south, college student, and longtime sci fi and fantasy buff. Lived all around the U.S. and getting out of country for a little bit here soon courtesy of uncle sam over in the middle east.

Most of my bdsm experience comes from online rp, some of it from friends, some from relationships, and other experiences from munches and chatrooms. I've been interested in the lifestyle since before I probably should have been, and have been learning ever since. Every day learn something new right? - Can't recall what sparked my interest in it, but I can safely say I am quite hook, line, and sinker in the life. I see the opportunity for greatness to come out of living this way, but also recognize that there is a rough side as well and that it takes both time and patience to get into the relationship that I'm looking for.

Having said that, and not having much else to say at the moment, nice to meet you all and I will see ya around the forums.

I can't say I've read his books, but he worked on Crysis 2 as the lead writer. While def not the same as books (I've just finished the Enders series by Orson Card.) the script work was flawless.

And thanks for all the support guys and gals. Believe it or not, there's lots of troops from all branches out there who really appreciate it when people take the time out of their day to say thank you. I haven't done much to earn that thanks yet, but I'm getting there eventually.

Hey, what do you do in April? Welcome to CM

kalikshama -> RE: Young buck on site looking for that special someone. (2/25/2012 7:21:56 AM)

<--- former USAF.

"Ender's Game" is one of my favs, and apparently lots of other people's as well, as it tends to go missing from libraries quite frequently :)

Whether you are engaged in an epic battle deep behind the lines against those who would destroy us and take away our rights and freedoms, or just battling an epic pile of paperwork behind a desk in Nowhere, USA, you are still serving our country, and us. That deserves our thanks. Even from a pacifist like me who hates war, but realistic enough to realize it is not always avoidable, nor is it the fault of those who are on the ground fighting it or giving support to those who are. My father and brother served in the US Navy; Both my uncles served, one in the Navy and one in the US Marines--and he still serves the public as a police officer. They've all been in situations where they wish they had not been, but knew they had to do what they had to do in order to protect others.

Be proud that you serve, and please feel free to pass my thanks along to the others you serve with.
