figured I'd make a post since i'd like to become more active on the boards and talk/meet some new people.

so maybe check out my profile, i dunno. it seems really tough for a male dominant on this site with all the craziness out there.

i have an affinity for artists, and the weirdest of people. i'm also a music addict. so if you're genuine and you would like to talk art, music, or sports, let me know. i'm friendly.

peace.

:)

Greetings, art. What's with your profile photo, is there a story behind it or just a photo you got elsewhere and liked? (I like it, myself but not sure why..)

Pfft. Get known in the local scene as someone with a decent personality and ethics, and life's pretty good.

That said, your profile has a pic of Audrey Hepburn, and a sense of... drifting. Show a stronger personality and that you know what you want, and your path will become easier.

Welcome to collarme.

Well, whip me with a wet noodle.. Did not even look close enough at the face to recognize Hepburn, was to fixated on trying to figure out what about the photo was so drawing to me. Still can't figure it out.

And definitely shows more class and style than some who simply put up a penis pic than try claiming they can't show their face :-P You'll do well here.

thanks, I understand what you're saying, DarkSteven, I wish I had that personality, but it doesn't come natural and I refuse to force it. I'm sort of that Minnesota nice you hear about, but I like to dominate in the sack. heh.

that said, I don't think my personality is lacking by any means. I'm really popular and busy within my local vanilla life, I've just never tried to connect with the local (bdsm) scene outside of one on one interactions. I even had an opportunity for anonymity while living in Phoenix the last year, and I still had no ambition to pursue the lifestyle that way. I just don't think I'd be comfortable, I express this in my profile even. Maybe someone will drag me somewhere some day and I'll enjoy it, I've done fine without having to find out, so far. *shrug*

... also, that response has me feeling that this may of came off as a personals ad... it's not, unless we're talking platonic.

I dislike my avatar, but given the few photos of my I allow to be taken, it's the lesser of evils. But thank you.

I don't think DS meant to imply that your personality was lacking by any means, if that's how you interpreted it. More that he's been around a fairly long time, and has seen what thrives and does not.. in general. There are, of course, exceptions. But I agree somewhat that you don't come off as a very "strong" dom, which many will take to mean you're weak if they don't otherwise know you. But on the other hand, I don't get a sense of weakness from you, either, just that laid back, artistic feel, which I've no doubt will be attractive to some. Just be who you are, and don't worry about attracting everyone, just those who are attracted to people like you.

You don't have to ask me twice!!!

Welcome to CM, Art. Make yourself at home, we're sometimes silly, sometimes serious, with a dash of snark when the recipe calls for it!
