I am planing to meet a mistress in a hotel. We had many sessions before in a public dungeon, but this is the first time that we plan to play in a hotel. Is there anything particular safety issue that I need to be aware of?

presumably, since you have played previously, the safety issues have already been addressed. The only thing I would say for playing in a hotel room is make sure that you keep the noise down: you don't want someone calling the cops on you.

Oh, and as someone who works in the hotel industry: DO NOT TRASH THE ROOM.

I am going to state the obvious: are you aware of the expertise and ability of the person you are meeting. Have you met her before in person and/or scened with her. If not, it might be best to do that first. Finding out her lack of ability or sincerity when you are bound to a bed is a bad time to discover that.

1) Make sure the towels are clean (depends on the hotel).

2) Take some double stick tape with you....wrap it around the bed posts (bed bugs.....sure way to keep them from having an encounter with you).

3) Chilled champagne (chics love that....don't know why...but they do...get there 2 hours ahead to see to it....ice...ice baby), flowers too. (I know...they're a pain in the ass {chics} but they're also round and soft and fluffy and they smell good too. Your only other option (as to that issue) is a cat or a cappybara....but they won't drink with you (and they'll knock over all the glasses...that whole opposable thumb thingie)...and the hotel generally won't let you bring either of those in anyway.

4) Muuuuuuuuusic.

5) You can thank me later.

6) Oh sorry....."safety"..... .357 Magnum, 7 rounds.

I've been meeting subs in hotels for over 20 years.

Discretion is paramount.......great gags are essential......I recall folks in the next room banging on the wall back in '92.

I used to hate even the idea of it, but now I do it regularly and I'm quite used to it. I use a sirius boombox for music. my Domme even encourages me to come up with clever ways of restraint in a hotel room, of which I have figured out several.

She told me to get music, I came up with a answer. She told me to come up with some interesting restraint ideas, I did. I considered it "following orders". She was pleased. Win/win.

What if the opposite happened, she tells me to come up with those two things, and when she asks, I say "Nope, I didn't come up with anything".

True, maybe not "fun" or "interesting" for everyone, but here goes.

The first one is that there is rarely bedposts in a hotel room, for whatever reason. So, my solution for that is a dowel rod, the length is your choosing(the longer the better), with some eye hooks on the ends and possibly in the middle. You can tie the dowel around the matress(width wise). You can use a rolling hitch, or the knot of your choice. If you do this around the head and the foot, there is quite the possibilities because you can move the dowels and use them on the back, on the stomach or on the knees and elbows with pretty good restraint.

Also, the room I have found that we usually use is a large, handicap able room, it has an additional hallway in the main entrance that has a hallway, with a coat rack in it. This doubles as a perfect rack for overhead arm restraint, although sound here is an issue.

The other here is an ottoman in the room, plenty of fun to be had bent over.
