As far as restraint in a hotel room goes, most of the places I've been the beds sit on these solid pedestals. I had a long piece of half inch braided nylon with loops tied into it every so often that went around the pedestal to provide anchor points for restraints. Simple to set up, simple to break down, and folded up very small.
The over the door style anchor points can also be good for hotel rooms, especially if the bathroom door faces into a nice open area. Using the main door into the room can work as well, but noise is a huge factor for that one.
