Status: offline 		Is it because you feel it gives you a feeling of peace(this how I've heard other slaves/subs describe it) or is there something else you get out of serving that makes you want to serve?

Status: offline 		I don't like chaos. I like order. I don't like being in charge. I don't like telling others what to do. I'm comfortable being subservient in life. It's peaceful and it makes my life oh so much easier. He is dominant and I'm attracted to dominant men, especially Master.

Status: offline 		I serve because I love my Master, and submission is a big part of how I express romantic affection. I feel more comfortable when my partner has a leadership role. It makes me feel very content and cared for. I feel "at home" in service to my Master.

Status: offline 		Carol "serves" because that's the way she views the world. She'd prefer to follow rather than lead. I'm a credible leader in her eyes so she doesn't have to lead. Loving me an awful lot I'm sure helps too.

It gives me a sense of peace because serving makes me a better person. I am in charge at work--making decisions, policy, pronouncements. I tend to be more dominant than my friends are in our friendships. If I just steam rolled my way through life, taking control of people and situations, I would not realize this other facet of my personality: to serve others before myself. It has truly freed me from the constraints of being the one in charge, and I can be playful, more carefree and expressly loving. This is not to say I wish to escape responsibility or that Ds cannot be playful and loving. It simply means that I feel free when I submit to him.

I have really only submitted in romantic relationships. I am not sure why that is.

Status: offline 		I serve because i am madly in love with my Master.  I would not say it gives me a sense of peace.  It does make him a happier person and makes his life eaiser.  So  i do it out of love and devotion ant, i will do anything to make his life eaiser.

Status: offline 		I'm not service oriented. I get nothing directly from washing dishes except to have clean dishes. I do things he needs because I love him and want to make his life easier. Which oddly enough, is why he'll do stuff for me.

Status: offline 		Feeling needed & appreciated. I enjoy doing the little things to make his life easier. I love seeing his reaction when I've done things for him.

I don't like decision making or taking the lead, so it's much nicer for me to be lead by someone I love & trust.

Status: offline 		At my day job, I'm in charge. I make decisions....order people around....take command of situations, esp ones when even some of my bosses are turning to me to ask me what they should do. I'm a dominant person--type A all the way. It's a lot of responsibility and pressure, and it's very draining to be in charge all the time. Many times, my jobs involves coming into chaos and bringing order to it.

When I'm home, I don't want to be in charge--I enjoy not having responsibility, not making decisions and cleaning is the "order to the chaos". It lets me clear my mind and have to think about nothing except the task at hand. When I'm at the Household, I can "escape" for a few hours and I get the discipline that I crave. At parties, I love to serve--I find it fulfilling and enjoyable--performing good service is challenging but rewarding all on its on.

Status: offline 		I don't feel that him being the leader is the same as me enjoying serving. I am happier because he's in charge. It's much easier on me and him. But it still doesn't excite me to do laundry.

Or run the dishwasher which I need to go do.
