Kill all the negativity. It's unattractive and won't prevent the undesired messages but will turn off your target audience.

Dude, you are totally creating a self-fulfilling prophecy.

When I was looking, I considered collarme to be one tool of many. There is also OKCupid (which has a surprising amount of kinksters - look for people who have taken the kinky tests or who have kinky keywords in their profiles) and fetlife - use to find local events and then network.

No, seriously. There is one, count em one girl in my area who has been online since the new year and just over 2-dozen who looked at their profiles sometime last year.

and probably some others I am forgetting. One tool among several and not very sharp or useful by the looks of it, but i'll keep it around anyways.

And maybe re-write my profile when I feel like it.

People are such funny creatures. So few of them are willing to do the work of being a pioneer that they'd rather follow and hope the masses jump in their laps. But if you're just following, the masses ain't in a position to go falling in your lap. In other words, until people from your area start coming on and finding something else interesting in your area, people in your area won't find anything interesting enough here to stay. It's a lose-lose situation.

So be the one to change that. Be the one to have a real profile, have a real personality, to simply be real and interesting, so when others do come along hoping to find something interesting.. they'll find you. Win-win.
