He is balls-deep in this muck.......

James Murdoch, son of News Corp. chief executive Rupert Murdoch and head of News International, has stepped down as executive chairman of the embattled British newspaper division, the company announced on Wednesday.

His resignation comes on the heels of the growing U.K. investigation into News International's phone-hacking activities, and less than a week after the division launched a new Sunday tabloid, the Sun on Sunday. That launch was overseen by Rupert Murdoch.

There are at least three open investigations into phone-hacking at News International--the most recent at the Sun. News Corp. which says it is cooperating with British authorities. Earlier this month, five Sun staffers were arrested in an ongoing probe into journalists paying for tips from police. More than 20 people have been arrested since the phone-hacking investigation began.

Whenever you mention Fox News and friends, remember to state that a Muslim owns the second largest share of the company.
Fox news, brought to you by folks who practice Sharia Law!

As far as Murdoch jr stepping down goes, might it be worth remembering that he's far more interested in the television assets than the print media holdings, and that they he has to disentangle himself from (or get rid of) those before the monopolies commission will let his dad buy him any more television networks?

As long as bollock chops is in charge, firing/removing/pretending to castigate, is useless. Window dressing at best.
BTW what were the results of his "new" paper.what are the figures out?

It was NOTW light. Not so much gossip in it just cheesy stories re so called celebraties. Over all, since the NOTW closed, less papers are being sold, probably due to so much news coverage on the net.

I`ll try and find some figures, anything for you babe.

I guess this mean he's going to disregard all those emails I sent him regarding hemlock.

Look on the Briet side. We already know he's located new subordinates that are as evil as him, if not more. The trick is I guess, keeping them alive.

I just heard the following on the BBC from one of their heavyweight political pundits. One Andrew Neil, the name is significant because he worked for much of his career at the Sunday Times as editor. He went from there to be founding Chairman for SkyTV.

In his show tonight there was a segment on Murdochs sacking Neil said something like "you need to remember BSKYB is a publicly owned company, I have heard from sources that the report from the Select Committee (Made up of MPs) will crucify Murdoch and the BSKYB board have lined up a possible replacement."

For a man like Neil to say this openly on national TV you can assume there is some truth to the matter.

Lucy you owe me details on figures... Yours for instance.

Bumps this up for Lucy. It seems that BSKYB are being investigated as to if they are a "fit and proper" company to hold a broadcasting license.
