ORIGINAL: DarkSteven Why? Assuming that your goal is simply to find a sub, why would you want to do it online? Denver has lots of events. Some people's schedules don't fit with local events. I don't want to speak for the OP, but I know for me, for the past few years, except for this past fall, I've usually either worked or taken classes on the nights that local munches meet. Well....Grace.....I believe you need to affect your schedule somewhat. Those that think that can, are generally correct. Those that think they can't.....well....they're correct as well. Get in the game Grace. Quit complaining about why the world should revolve around you because.....I'm here to tell you..... (It don't). I used to think it revolved around me but I soon realized that was at best, heresy. (I did soon realize, however, it revolves quite near me :) ) Oh, I didn't read this as a complaint at all. I think GraceAdieu was just stating that munches aren't always an option for all people. I live outside of Boston. I could probably have my pick of munches to go to on any given day. And I look often for a gathering. Yet, in all the time I've lived here, I've only managed to go to one. And you should have seen the hoops I had to jump through to make that happen. It was comical. It's not a complaint, it's just a fact. I'm certainly glad I went and I can see the value, but to say that one is complaining and not trying because one can't attend a munch due to their own schedule is not quite accurate or fair. Looking for a partner of ANY sort is done online these days to a certain extent. I don't think anybody would ever argue that online is preferable to meeting in person (unless that person doesn't actually want to meet anybody). But boy, it really does make some people's lives a bit easier.
