There are a fair number of threads written by collared subs and slaves, and i too s'times pass them by because i am uncollared. However, there is still the "General BDSM", "Off Topic" and "Polls" forums, among others, where nobody cares what your status is.
i say express your opinion, lurk, or don't come to the boards at all; whatever you want to do. And it's okay to change your mind from time to time.
Lots of people just lurk; reading but never posting. It never occured to me that they were snobbish. i just figured that's what worked for them.
i'm sorry you were insulted, but it was meaningless, and i recommend you try and forget it.
