I have already posted in the Poly area but I wanted to give a formal "hello" to everyone and to also share something interesting.

After 30 years of being together (we started dating when we were in our early teens), my wife opened up to me and said that she is not just submissive-minded, but slave-minded. We had a very long discussion and got everything out on the table. Interestingly, I wasn't surprised in the least. If anything, I was relieved as I always felt like the concept of me "being in charge" was a bit of a farce...a play, mostly.

It's only been a couple of days now (and I have updated my profile since), but things are progressing carefully. We joked that if she could only have said something 20 years ago, we'd have had 20 years of this. But the reality is that neither of us was ready. We just weren't mature enough.

So while we're not at all new to the dom/sub sexual fun, we are new to the Dom/slave lifestyle. It is great that there is a community like this to provide people with support...we may need some. :)
