Dipping Numbers ... Time to tell the liberals "it's just a 'fad'".... Or will it be a 'temporary trend' this time... or maybe even "the numbers are cooked....

BTW - I am hearing there is a possibility that Massachusetts will slap one of it's famous rejected stickers on the window of the Romney Campaign bus via the polls ... now how is it going to sound in the general when the ONLY place the guy has governed has rejected his candidacy?

Romney hoping for a ‘reset’ among voters, after a long and heated primary

CANTON, Ohio—Mitt Romney is spending his final day before Super Tuesday traveling through eastern Ohio, a region that has been especially hard hit by job losses and housing foreclosures.

Romney aides have long argued that this kind of political landscape favors their candidate in a general election matchup against President Barack Obama. But that was before Romney got caught up in a tougher than expected Republican primary that has left all the candidates bruised and battered. And the race isn't over yet.

In recent weeks, as negative ads have dominated the airwaves, Romney's unfavorable numbers have been slowly picking up. A new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll finds that just 28 percent of likely general election voters view him favorably, while 39 percent view him unfavorably. That's a 3 point hike since January. Among independent voters, who are likely to determine the outcome of November's election, Romney's numbers are even more dismal, as just 22 percent view the former Massachusetts governor favorably.

According to the NBC/WSJ poll, at this stage in the game, Romney's image is worse than past Republican nominees, including John McCain, whose favorable rating was at 47 percent in March 2008. George W. Bush had a 43 percent approval in 2000 and Bob Dole was at 35 percent favorable in March 1996.

At the same time, Romney, who once held a slight lead over Obama in the polls, has seen this advantage slip away. According to the NBC/WSJ poll, Obama now leads Romney by 6 points, 50 percent to 44 percent.

He needs to win Republican nomination first, and he is going strong. The strategy against Obama will be executed after that. Who cares about stupid polls at this point? (I am not a big Romney fan, just looking at things as they are).

The big news is that Santorum is a horrible candidate, but the only way that Romney is able to beat him is by outspending him. Even in states that should be favorable to Romney. Romney's got a huge money edge over a weak GOP field.

When he has to go up against Obama, who will have a huge money advantage over him, he'll be toast. Sitting Presidents seem to have an edge anyway, and Romney's already got effective attack ads against him made by other Republicans.

What cracks me up is what his campaign staffers are saying to the press. Are they fucking clueless?
Oh, and you should hear what the media on virtually every channel in this state is saying about Romney's coming to vote in the Mass Republican Primary... They are calling his visit "to one of his home states" a "drive-by"[sm=car.gif]

I didn't SPELL Miracle... however ... that is exactly what he will need in his home state to not be completely and utterly humiliated.

That IS by the way how we spell humiliated.... R-O-M-N-E-Y

To be fair, there were some pretty nasty ones aimed at teh Kenyan by his rival Democrat candidates (Hilary Clinton set the ball rolling on all of that Birther nonsense, for a start), so that might be less of a problem than it appears to be. I'm sure Romney's camp have convinced themselves of that by now, anyway...

The Fox news planet-feeding US conservatives lies from an Australian and a Muslim for over 20 years!
