Lenny Dykstra former Met and Phillie was sentenced to 3 years in the klink today in a Los Angeles court .The charges included 3 counts of Grand theft auto stemming from a scheme where high end automobiles were leased using fraudulent credit information.
Dykstra had recently sought bankruptcy protection citing 31 million in debts while owning about 50,000 in assets.
Seems"Nails"(his nickname back in the day) lived his life as he played the game...hard and fast,and probably cheating(Dykstra was long suspected of using performance enhancing drugs )
