I don't think this has anything to do with BDSM at all.

Telling others what is rightfully the private or personal information of another person without that other person's consent, is at the very least rude and in my opinion highly unethical.

I share my stuff with people on this website, people who visit my website, those members of my fansite, classes I speak to, and others I personally choose.

No one has a right to talk for me or post for me anywhere for any reason.

Yes, I do have permission from Tom and Fox to tell you the things I do about them on this website -- I do not tell you many things about them because I do not have permission. Even though Fox is my slave, I value his right to personal privacy and to make decisions about who else knows about us. He in turn has my permission to talk about me about certain things on the furry and bondage websites he is a member of. The same is true for Tom and his particular interest sites.

I think people who share private communication without the permission of the person who sent that private communication are basically attention seeking or have some other deficit in their head. I do not understand it unless someone was stalking them. Even then I do not understand it. I do not know if it is unethical, but it certainly is immature

i do not wish to be outed by anyone for any reason. i have a son and husband i love very much i just also love the lifestyle more each day. to have someone deliberately hurt those i love by bring me out in the open is malicious and uncalled for. those in this life should know that about as well as any since in some areas of the world mine in particular outing would end careers, destroy families and friendships. on the other hand i would love to be able to be totally open in my life and not consider this my secret half but until other things in my life change i prefer to be quietly submissive without being threatened and held hostage by some "immature, malicious and possibly dangerous person" outing me.

Dustee, I was joking... I also don't agree that you should have to sacrifice your comfort for someone you've only just met online...

I was kidding, honest...

I tend to think the whole answering profiles thing is too stilted and unreal anyway... I almost exclusively contact people I've observed on the boards, because maybe I've enjoyed their viewpoints, or I love their sense of humor... Ya don't just pick up the phone book and start calling strangers do ya? well emailing people who have profiles on here is a lot like calling out of a phone book....
