ORIGINAL: DaddySatyr Jan of '86. I remember the day, well. I also remember that I was listening to that pimple on the butt of humanity, Howard Stern and initially, I thought he was making a sick joke. He wasn't laughing or anything of the sort. No, to his credit, he was somber, measured, respectful and a comfort (I'm sure) to all of those listening to him. When I got home, of course all of the television stations had pre-empted programming to cover this tragedy so, I saw the video so much, it's been burned into my memory. Even though I can't stand the man and I wasn't listening to him, I have heard the entire audio of his behavior on 9/11/01 also and, again; he was exemplary. Peace and comfort, Michael Colour me confused.. I'll unconfuse you: I have never found Howard to be funny. My boss inflicted him on us, every day. In fairness, he was respectful and well-mannered. FF to 2,001: I didn't hear the original broadcast until someone posted it on Youtube and I listened to it, wondering if he had maintained the personal standard he had set in 1986. He did. Credit where credit is due. Peace and comfort, Michael
