Rush Limbaugh fans = Animals?

OK, between the Republican legislator who compared food stamp recipients to animals, and the Rush Limpbaugh portrayal of a woman who use birth control to treat PCOS as sluts, I have to ask.
Are the folks who agree with Rush Limbaugh in any way more intelligent or more moral than animals?
I'm looking for evidence of compassion, independent reasoning, or logical skills primarily, but any evidence that his fans have greater intellectual ability than a tool using Chimp will suffice (I note tool using Chimps as a cutoff so folks won't say "Rush's fans can operate a radio...")
Any Dittoheads out there want to take a shot at this?

i will just say this. Evolution continues.

Some of our human counterparts remain closer to our Darwinian ancestors.

In contrast, I think being enlightened and compassionate, and supporting policies favoring equality and policies that take into account varying situations, indicates being more highly evolved.

I really AM better than certain other people
