I hear what you say, though my experience is different, but ... Just how is your eagerly awaited and greedily-eaten-like-a-starved-dog Hollywood take on things helpful to the cause here? Seriously? I dislike bumper stickers of any sort, so it might be arguable that I should recuse myself from the discussion. But I won't, because ignorance is not abided from this quarter. Good for you that you somehow managed to escape notice that bigotry and even outright racism is even more prevalent outside the SE. Racial segregation is built in in most of the NE, you missed that? But the 'cool' bumper stickers make up for that, right? I'm as weird a f*ck as exists, and have gone to many corners of the SE and had only occasional problems, most certainly less trouble as experienced elsewhere in the country. My sister got caught with 24 plants in her car in the 70s, in rural NC, and the state trooper and the prosecuting attorney both thought quite little of it at the time. $50 fine, end of story. My dearly beloved nephew is doing 3 years in prison for not much more. Thanks to, ultimately, Reagan, who is from Illinois and found political success in California. So, that bumper sticker thing working out for you there, eh? Please stay away, go away, be gone. Maybe you should go work for the Cali and NY asshats that sent millions to every Jesse Helms campaign in NC. I just knew that my tremendously smart Macon-born aunt led me the right way, not to mention the parents. Thanks to them, I was well prepared for the tsunami of bigotry I experienced in the Midwest and NE, or those from those regions. Have fun with the bumper stickers there, whatever the occasion.
