Stephen Colbert Sends Up Herman Cain's Goldfish Ad

Former GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain’s PAC recently released an anti-stimulus ad involving a goldfish, a little girl and a post-apocalyptic landscape.

What did it all mean? Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert tried to sort it all out–and send it up as well. “Cain is pushing the boundaries of what can be called a political ad just as he once pushed the boundaries of what can be called pizza,” said Colbert of Cain, a former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza.

Colbert also unveiled his own parody of the clip–which, truth be told, wasn’t that much more offbeat than the original.

What do you think? Watch the clip: http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2012/03/09/stephen-colbert-sends-up-herman-cains-goldfish-ad/

Cain's ad looked more like a metaphor for his relevance in American politics.
